Re: Tavelo Aero Frame
looks way more interesting that the attack, that felt like the most generic dropped stays frame I've seen in my life and was basically an open mold frame edit: this is the Adapt QX-B01 frame http://www.adapt-bikes.com/Products-detail?product_id=95 that being said it's not a bad design, front end is straight up a stevens arcalis, which tests very fast, rear end is tavelo attack April 03, 2024, 10:07:14 AM |

Re: Tavelo Aero Frame
I am way beyond the point of gratuitous consumerism and hoarding bikes. But I really want one. Being nearly half the price of your propel and giant issues , propel might turn into a regret after this. April 03, 2024, 11:28:29 AM |

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame
Prepared to be disappointed I got another 140 -6 Zipp for you, but it isn't the prettiest I really want to keep the bars/stem there own thing, exactly for the reasons you mentioned! Can we at least get a mock up with that setup!? For some reason this is very important to me lol April 03, 2024, 01:16:06 PM |

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame
i've built a VB168 with Sensah (4 hoses), the 268 is the same infrastructure, so yes you can run mechanical. It's a major, major pain though, and the FD shifting will probably suck. Thanks Serge, you answered everything I had and probably every follow up question i had to boot also Will go with the ER9 and the 268. Build is something like this: Frame 268 (Racing Green) Order process is really easy and Chis's communication is great so far. Group ER9 Magene PES cranks/power Pass Quest rings Ryet Saddle Gp5000 (probably 30 but 32 if it fits) Just wheels to figure out 50 to 60mm with internet 21+ and under 700 dollars and under 1600g would be good suggestions welcome.... must have shiny finish preferably no decals as going no logos with the design. Order this week but wont be building till first week of June so ill try to share some photos April 03, 2024, 04:23:35 PM |

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
That comes with buying a frame direct from manufacturer. If you get your frame on time, they either have it in stock or you got lucky. If it is delayed when it's being manufactured, that's normal.Difference is that when somebody gives you an estimated delivery date because they just want to sell you a frame, it's not cool. Re: Tavelo Aero Frame
I am pretty sure these values are not correct, given the weight of the current attack bike. Maybe if they would use a lot more t1000 carbon wich would cause a big increase in price. Man hours are far more expensive than higher modulus carbon. But they may choose to charge a lot more if it has a competitive and desirable feature (light weight). I doubt those figures for anything except an XS or S though. Waiting to see geo. April 05, 2024, 01:19:39 PM |

A couple of hiccups but Wendy from LC was able to remedy the issues.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
Nice build, thanks for posting! The front and rear caliper mounts could've been faced to help with alignment. The rear cutout for the derailleur hanger was a bit wonky and needed a little persuading to help it align to prevent it from binding up the axle when the set screw was tightened. I choose black to specifically camouflage the overly boxy down tube. Other than that the bikes been a dream to ride the first 400 miles thus far. April 08, 2024, 08:23:39 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
Finalizing my order as we speak. Custom painted 58cm ultralight. Carol and Lightcarbon have been super-responsive and helpful, especially since this is the first time I've done custom graphics for something like a bike frame. Will definitely be reporting back as the process completes! Very much looking forward to receiving it and building it up!
