Re: cybrsrce AM831 build
Thanks for the new information and updates on progress. Keeping my fingers crossed that my frame will be tight but if not I have a great blueprint for a fix. Can get spacers 3D printed out of carbon filament. How do you think that very hard but perhaps somewhat brittle material would work for this application?

Can't be any worse than standard pla. I might grab a spool to try it out, until then I'm going to print some spares just in case they disintegrate on the trail.

Re: The Shiny New AM831 Group Buy (A) Thread! I was gonna fix a cut tube over the rear shock, but that little fender looks like a good option. I may look into that route.

Re: Lexon 258 Full-Suspension XC It took about 8 weeks for the frame to arrive per train. The build has been completed and I've already made quite a few enjoyable rides!  :) I hope yours has also arrived Jnewman!

See attached my build.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts I think you will have to run the shifter cable housing the full length of the frame.

Re: AM831 competitors? Help knudge me over!
Any frames that you're aware of that can handle a 230x27.5mm shock? if not, I'd have to look into selling it and buying one that fits.

That is a very specific shock, rather long with a comparatively tiny stroke! Not sure you'll find AM or enduro frames that will take it.

Re: Lexon "Riot 10"
my frame arrived few days ago...I'm very impressed with Lexon quality overall!
Large size came at 2130 grams with shock hardware (no rear axle )

Let us see the final assembly please!  :) :)

Re: Carbonda FM909 That's nice colour shading.
My frame is also painted.  8)
Yes its rather a dark frame on the overview photo. Translucent color on black can't be very bright   ;).
The carbon blue raw effect is even more beautiful as I expected. In the top tube there is even a small weave part visible  ;D, although I didn't expect that.

This is more the kind of effect the rider itself can see and from distance it is not so pronounced. Since I am the rider, that's exactly what I wanted.

My frame comes in size S. Just if somebody asks.

Re: Carbonda FM909
Exactly the way you described it the other week, except maybe for that section of weave.  Looks really good. More pics please when you get it in your hands.

Yes it came out really great. The small areas with the weave are the ( unexpected)  cherry on top.
 8) I will do photos once it is here. According to the current situation this won't be very soon.  If it arrives before Christmas that would be really amazing .. so I could use the vacation for the build. But let's see.
