Re: Chinese cycling clothes this is popping in a number of topics these days, lots of products increasing in price by absurd amounts\
it's just common practice all over Aliexpress to prepare for the 11.11 sale. Products on Aliexpress are always with some amount of discount, it's always like 30% off over some 'stock' price which is never really practiced, or like 10 days a year tops.
soon it should be back to normal...

also another user pointed out that China is currently in Holidays, back next weekend, and the increase could be to discourage buyers, reduce order amount for a moment, and let them rest these days.
But honestly I don't think it's that, in my experience normally with long Holidays the website or the seller just extends the shipping time, covering their absence. Through chinese new year for example (february) the website normally advises that shipping will take 1-2 extra weeks due to holidays.

:o the Darevie bibs increased the prize ... its now more than double now, for € is 74... is this only for my account the case?
Also the jersey got much much much more expensive ?!
Even though I like them .. but that's not possible...I won't buy them again.

Re: LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets
467€ directly on aliexpress and 13€ to the post company?

Can you share which shipping method you used? I am tempted to try my own luck.

I bought it at the "80s Designer Store" as well. Since the "Official LTWOO Shop" on Aliexpress is not actually operated by LTWOO, I figured I might as well go with the best offer. What's more: I did deal with the Official Store when I ordered RX12 for a friend and dealt with them because of a warranty claim (the RD Cage was bent). As others have reported here, they're not exactly quick to communicate. Getting a spare cage shipped out was a long and tedious process. The 80s Designer Store in contrast was much quicker and easier to communicate with. Whatever that's going to be worth in the long run.

467 EUR did include shipping. The 13 EUR were customs fees. So actually, you guys got it even cheaper. Guess I should have waited a bit longer. But Alas, with Aliexpress you never really know when the best time is.

Re: Groupset News You all know that Shimano hydraulic shifters are also bigger than Shimano mechanical? My Shimano GRX and Ultegra hydraulic shifters look to be the same size compared to the mechanical shifters.

I wonder if Sensah will make hydraulic shifters for their Shimano compatible line-up? Also I wonder if they will make a carbon version?

Re: Groupset News Sensah Team Pro 11 speed Shimano-compatible hydraulic shifters now available:

Sensah also now selling all of their hydraulic shifters separately:

Looks like there's been a small update to the Empire Pro shifters as well, they're now all black (rather than heaving the cheap-looking plastic silver piece).

I asked the Sensah rep on Twitter what the difference with the new gravel rear derailleur is, and he said:

"The new rear chain lifter is stronger, and the chain stability and speed change are enhanced"

Re: ZTTO MTB M1 Boost hubs 28H 54T Ratchet I've had my M1 hubs for 2 years, main bike during the wet winters we get in the UK. Built up with BTLOS carbon rims, sapim d-light spokes for a build of 1600g. I asked for the 36t from ztto as part of the original order. The wheels have been brilliant, they still spin with hardly any drag and with no side to side play... My maintenance on the other hand hasn't been great.

Took them to bits for the first time today, all bearings are still fine except the outer freehub bearing. The ratchet has been fine but it is showing some signs of wear. The splines in the ring nut in the hub have worn through so only 50% thickness remains.

I'll order the steel dt swiss ring nut and I may buy the 24t ratchet, springs and grease kit, while I have the ring nut out, I'll change all the bearings and make the hub like new.

Re: DT 240EXP hub clones Goldix, Venfort BTW.

I built 5-10 wheelsets in past 12 months with Goldix hubs and sold them to friends/customers
Following them closely, all satisfied, some are pushing 5000km. Not huge numbers, but still indicative.
My wheelsets are also Goldix, of course, and i have no issue.

Recommendation on 1x12 MTB groupset? I briefly read through the threads - MTB groupsets seem to be of less interest compared to road/gravel. So I'd like to ask for experences and recommendations on MTB 1x12 speed groupsets? Focus is on shifter/derailleur recommendation, but hints on HG compatible cassettes are alos welcome :-)
From what I found the Ltwoo TX (letters mixed up ;-)?) seems to be an option, or possibly Sensah XRX? I would not go for carbon cage...
Would the ZTTO 12 speed with a weight of 400g (11-50) a good idea?
Thanks for any hints!

Re: Chinese cycling clothes Went for a ride with the Darevie jersey I got for $13 on the “choice” menu. Pockets are a bit hard to get to, but the jersey is super high quality. Best $13 I’ve spent on Ali for sure!

Re: Carbonda FM909
May I know your height?
I am 174cm ( 5'9") and use a size M frame with a 60 mm Carbonda handlebar. I feel 1 cm short.
178cm, long legs(89cm inseam) long harms.
Everyone is different.
For a coming build, I suggested the guy to go first with a stem+bar first.
UNO stems are cheap to test. And when he's sure, we'll get him the integrated bar.
Cheaper and more precise than a bike fit.

Workswell WCB-R-306
Because there's no topic yet for the Workswell WCB-R-306, I'll kick things off. In recent weeks, I've slowly been building up my bike. I didn't buy the frame directly from Workswell; instead, I found a good deal on the marketplace in the Netherlands.

My impression of the frame is very positive — it's highly agile and well-finished. So far, I haven't encountered any downsides. The bike is equipped with :
Shimano 105 DI2,
crank: 50/34
casette: 11-34 cassette,
Wheels: Elite Wheels (the specific type is unknown; I've had them for three years).

building up with normal handlebar:

Finished with Integrated handlebar

The handlebar is also from Workswell, the WHB-027. It's well-crafted and feels comfortable, but I've noticed a considerable amount of flex, especially when in the drops. It could be normal for a carbon handlebar, as I don't have prior experience with this material. I think it's relatively simple to make the handlebar stiffer by closing the hole at the top of the stem. I can't find a good reason for the existence of this hole.

Overall, I haven't come across any negatives so far,
the only thing where i am still looking for is a seatpost cover,
i have try the cover of an Tamarac SL7 it fits on the seatpost but dont cover the whole wedge
