Re: ZTTO BB92 BB86 threaded bottom brackets. You can only use the wrench.

But a press will allow you to replace the bearings.
Look for Muzqi on aliexpress.

Re: ZTTO BB92 BB86 threaded bottom brackets. I just greased mine up, pushed one side in then pushed the other side in until it "engaged" the first side. Turned them by hand until they got too tight then used a bb wrench to tighten.  Pretty easy installation.

Re: TanTan TT-X21 frame I think you have enough torso for both.

If you prefer comfort, take the 52.
The handlebar will be higher relative to the saddle.

If you are more on the race side and flexible, you could take the 50 with a long stem, but ending more cramped.

A real bike fit session, made by a good person would make you sure.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-168 Frame I have had the exactly same experience. I have been told a few times it would be shipped a week or so ago. The first delay was due to handlebars not being available. Next they have said the frame needed to be repainted and they were still doing that. No tracking numbers just yet. Im in the same boat. All my components have arrived, just need frame now. Fingers crossed  :)

I have had the exactly same experience. I have been told a few times it would be shipped a week or so ago. The first delay was due to handlebars not being available. Similar experience. My order took 3 months and 1 week from order being placed to receiving it and the delay I was told (in addition to Lunar new year) was due to the unusual size of the bars. Also experienced that the tracking number I was given didn't seem to be updating for a number of days after it was created to the point where I also asked if the the package had actually been shipped.

Working on the build now and it's going relatively smoothly. Managed to figure out the internal cabling without too much issue. Only trouble I ran into last night related to the frame was that the bolts on the fork where the caliper screws into seemed to have some hardened residue on the inside which made mounting the bolts a bit hard. To the point where I was questioning whether they choose a different size other than the standard whatever that is but eventually with a bit of force they went in.

When I was reading that the back brake mounts could take a 160 rotor I thought this meant without the adapter, as in the caliper mounted directly to the frame as I've seen this before but maybe only for 140? Had to mount it with the adapter like my previous frame.

Re: Velo Build R-099 Build
Hi! Has anyone built the frame with di2, and if so, how did you mount the battery?

In this respect I don't imagine it being too different than the 168. I put the battery in the seat tube of my 168 with a small amount of packing foam to secure it in place

Re: Velo Build R-099 Build Here’s a build I did for a friend.
I was overall very impressed by the quality of the frame.

The BB was nicely finished and I measured it to be consistently round and within spec. It seemed to have been machined to spec.

I did have the headset play issue. It’s really just the stupid compression ring making things complicated. One micro spacer solved the issue. I’m also very impressed by the bars. Routing was easy. Finish is nice. Very stiff. Too bad they don’t come in more sizes.

We had some issues with the seatpost slipping. I’ll probably have to add some tape. And I had to face the brake mounts. It was pretty laborious to get the thing rub free.
The discs were also not 100% true which didn’t help.

I’ll post my thoughts on the LTWOO RX12 in the respective thread. Some positives, some negatives. And I can’t get the RD to index flawlessly. Very annoying.

Final weight as pictured including pedals and cages is 8.6kg
