Re: SROAD lightweight cassettes You have a point! in real life, it's really not that bad :) The jar in the corner isn't piss either, for the record, but kombucha...
using ltwoo er9 RD. i've been very happy with shifting performance / noise with the previous cassette, and i've setup 5 such groups so i'm confident if it can work well, i'll get it to work well.
I'll revert after a few rides.

Re: Xiamen Carbon Speed 10 years anniversary special promotion
Hi everyone,

As I'm a bit green in the topic, I have a question. What considerations should one have in deciding between the T800 (regular) version of the rim, versus the new T1100 which Peter mentioned they're releasing this week?
It's surely nice to shave some grams off, but other than the weight aspect, should I expect a difference in riding experience or, most importantly, durability? What's your take on this new, lighter rim, paired with steel spokes?

T1100 is T300 faster than T800

Re: Tideace NEW Gravel Frame: GR201 Got a GR201 on order in gold/champagne color. Pretty excited.

My plan is to run a separate bar/stem combo to easily add TT bars later. While the likelihood of ever using TT bars is minimal unless I do Unbound 200, it will be nice to play around with the front end for optimal fit.

Can't decide on Di2 12sp 2x, or Sram eTap 1x. Or XPLR 1x 13sp. The latter is quite expensive.

And I doubt that the rim is full T1100. Maybe a mix of 700, 800 and 1100.
It can't be full t1100, it wouldn't pass impact résistance test. The T1100 version is a mix of all 3 fibers.
Correct. It can't be full T1100, otherwise it would be too fragile.

Help me choose a frame Hello everyone

I'm looking for an all-purpose bike.
The specifications for this bike are :
- 60/40 or 50/50 road/gravel riding. I live in Switzerland and there is a lot of road compared to gravel
- Take 700x45 and bigger with 650b
- I would like this bike for long road rides with a 32mm wheelset and fast gravel rides with a wheelset between 36mm and 42mm. I would also like to take this bike on bikepacking adventures (Torino - Nice gravel route for example).

I've found several bikes that seem to fit the bill, but I'd like your opinion:
- Carbonda 696. The only problem is that I have no feedback on this bike with a road wheelset. Also it doesn't have fully integrated cables but
well, I can go over it
- BXT gravel bike. I've just discovered it. It seems to be exactly what I'm looking for but its weak point is that it's really heavy (1300g for the frame).
Carbonda 505SL. Again, relatively new and not really back.

If you have any other ideas or want to give your opinion, don't hesitate, I'd be very interested.

Re: Aero gravel frameset suggestion Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the look of the pinarellos. I ended up going with the spcycles g068 frame (has a long reach), it has the same geometry/look as a newest canyon grail. If i could have found an ostro gravel clone that fit 47+ tires and fit like a 60-62CM frame I would have done that in a heartbeat.

Re: Gravel build advice? Just to update here, I've ordered all the parts (and some others too) and will start a new thread here for the build itself when things arrive.

Re: Xiamen Carbon Speed 10 years anniversary special promotion Finally got my hands on the wheelset and so far I'm happy with it. 65mm rim with 26mm internal with in-house hubs and pillar 1420 spokes weight just under 1500g. The paintless finish looks fantastic. 30mm Schwalbe Pro one measures around 33mm and sits flush with the rim
