Seraph Bikes Superlight 836g X68 - Alternative to SL8 Fakes? https://www.seraphbikes.com/Superlight-Disc-Road-Bike-Frame-TT-X68-BSA-Bottom-Bracket-Max-Tire-70028C-With-Integrated-Handlebar-p5836624.html

A far better alternative than buying a bottom bracket exploding fake SL8 in my opinion. Identical geometry of course. Maybe I should get one to compare to my actual Tarmac SL8

Seraph is the "brand" counterpart to Tantan if I'm not mistaken...

EDIT: Even the geometry chart is using a photo of a frame with an SL7 Tarmac stem and spacers  ;D

Re: Seraph Bikes Superlight 836g X68 - Alternative to SL8 Fakes? I've built two road frames up from TanTan/Seraph. Both were loosely inspired off western brands (Scott Foil and Trek Madone) but not identical in geometry. Very solid given the price. I also a TanTan/Tideace GR201 gravel frame on order.

This particular X-68 is conflicting. TanTan is a legitimate brand/factory/whatever and they make reputable products. This is this the first time I've seen them release a product to be straight up clone. Not similar in design or "inspired" like their X-34 and X-38. Actual one to one. From the saddle clamp to the Roval handlebars.

I just hope these frames aren't being supplied to the overwhelming number of fake sellers on AliX

Re: Seraph Bikes Superlight 836g X68 - Alternative to SL8 Fakes? I’m excited to share that I’ve officially commissioned the TT-X68 as a "Full Build"! After thorough consideration and planning, I decided to go with Tantan.

As per the timeline provided, the full build will take approximately 25-30 working days to complete. Following that, there will be an additional 10-15 days for shipping, so I anticipate its arrival in mid-end January.

I’ll keep you all updated on the progress and, of course, will share pictures and initial impressions once it arrives. If interested.

TanTan/Seraph TT-X69 - The Real SuperSix EVO Clone? Alternative to LC017-D? Not much info as of right now. And TanTan's website is currently down.
They seems to be on a roll with their latest clones. Thankfully this "interpolation" of the SuperSix EVO doesn't have bus like aerodynamics.

Re: ICAN FL1
Me too, still considering Onirii One, or One pro and Ican FL1. The lightest frame from Elves so Vanyar in my size weight...1160 g >:( The issue with the Onirii is that I have 187 cm, and I'm on the edge with that 56 frame! I checked the bikegeocalc.com and it should be okay, but I have some doubts. The Ican looks very nice, rather good opinions and there are quick. However, the One Pro is looking much better, but for sure will be heavier.

That Onirii One pro looks extremely similar to the New Spcycle R088, but with a different fork and double the price.
I'm 99% sure it's the same frame at a healthy markup.

Cervelo R5 "tribute"- Tan Tan FM639 build I still hate how we deal with photos here....

Anyways here is my first disc build....

Current weight- 7.05kg minus computer

Frame/fork- Tantan FM/FK639 (Cervelo R5 clone- tentative name = "Vega C5") - 950g 54cm frame, fork was 380g uncut, bike shop cut it. Chameleon paint; I can find code if people want. I'm pretty sure Tantan used my frame for photos.
Shifters/calipers/RD = Shimano Ultegra R8020
Handlebar- Tavelo Avro 380 x 130 - 347g
Seat- Ryet - 120g
Seatpost- Elita One 350mm
Wheels- GOZONE 45x30mm carbon spoke- 592/695g F/R
Tires- Conti GP5K TT 30mm, I want to say they measured at 250g/piece
Tubes- Ridenow TPU 24g
Rotors- Aliexpress stuff out of a drawer, 100g/piece + 6 bolt to centerlock adapters
Crankset- Quarq DZERO 170mm
Chainrings- Extralite 50/34
Bottlecages- AE XXX ripoffs, 15g each I think
Computer mount- Tavelo OEM, didn't measure

Had some mishaps on the first ride.... didn't tighten the saddle clamp and it came off on the first ride. Crank/BB had a 4mm gap so I had to 3D print some spacers. Other than that I really like it. Feels mostly similar to my old FM208, though the wider tires/lower pressure are more comfy. Tavelo Avro stem length is ~10mm longer than conventional and I didn't account for the 0 degree stem angle so the fit is longer/lower.... I like it though.

Only remaining parts are some weight weenie stuff.... ~60g rotors and ditching the 50/34 Extralite for a single 48T narrow-wide to run 1x. So far I really like it; need to take some nice photos as it's a beautiful bike. Good mix of modern stuff with a classic frame. I am waiting for the Chinese to get on board with the aero front/WW rear, I don't see the point of ~50mm deep seat tubes. Anyways better photos coming soon

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) Lo and behold, the frameset finally arrived and is waiting for bike fitting before further installation of the parts missing in the picture. I inspected the frame and noticed no visible damage inside or out. The white decal is slightly raised from the paint, which indicates there is a layer of clear coat and the paint is not brushed to a glossy effect as suspected few pages earlier. The lighting is not the best, but you get the greater picture ...  8)

FYI: The frame was shipped on 22 November and was delivered by DHL to Slovenia, EU on 10 December.

Re: Spcycle New Mold SP-R088 Carbon Road Frame
I’m definitely intrigued by this frameset but unable to find reviews anywhere. Anyone on here purchased this yet?

My R088 just got painted and they sent pictures already. I went with a simple UD gloss finish over bare carbon. Frame was weighed without metal hardware (the UDH and FD hanger) and my size 52cm frameset came in at 760g. I'll report back once my frame arrives hopefully within the next few weeks.
