Re: Elves Falath EXP
Elves is making bikes for the TikTok generation lol When these kids come of age they are gonna ride colorful Elves bikes with abnormal designs with no nostalgic feel to the frame designs etc. There is a market for what Elves is trying to do. That's what really matters these days. Know, make and sell to your target market. February 10, 2025, 09:11:06 PM |

Re: TFSA JH-15 and JH-10 - lightweight and aero disc frames
It's possible TFSA is an OEM for a German bike brand. That brand might have regional exclusive rights, hence TFSA doesn't ship there.

Elves Falath Pro Rim 2022 Review
Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster here. During my time here I have not encountered many reviews so I'll try to give you one on my Falath Pro. ![]() I've ordered the frame in summer 2022 and used parts of my Triban 920 to build up my first proper road bike (not counting the 2 fixies I've build before). Unfortunately the size I ordered was a 54 instead of the 56 which I would have needed so I experimented a lot with spacers and ended up with a reversed 7° stem. Ordering was pretty easy and Elves replied quickly. Building an integrated frame with no prior experince made it frustrating sometimes but everything turned out great in the end. Before I started my weight weenie Aliexpress adventure the bike weighed 8.2kg/18lbs and weighs 7.2kg/15.9lbs in it's current state (with pedals, GPS mount and 2 bottle cages). Not too shabby for an aero bike, the smaller frame porpably helped. The only thing that I can say regarding the ride quality is that I'm very satisfied. The bike accelerates incredibly quickly and climbs very well! Some might call it twitchy but I love the responsiveness. I find it plenty stiff when sprinting and comfortable enough with 30mm wheels. Still waiting for the magene power meter pedals though... The overall cost was somewhat around 3k € but closer to 2.5k, so still on a budget. Parts list: -Elves Falath Pro Rim frame custom paintjob -Elitewheels Drive 50V -Schwalbe 30mm Pro One tires -AliX TPU inner tubes -AliX Carbon marble aero bar 40mm -AliX Kalloy Uno stem 120mm -AliX OGKevin handlebar tape -Ultegra STI's -AliX Riro 2x Cranks 50-34 -YBN chain -DuraAce derailleurs -AliX ZTTO 11-30 Casette -AliX FF brakes -AliX Carbon Ryet 3D saddle -AliX Carbon bottle cages -Computer mount -Look KEO 2 max carbon pedals -AliX random titanium bolts -AliX Risk lightweight quick release skewers Even though I love this bike, I wouldn't say no to one of the SL8 alternatives that are being so in vouge at the moment. Tell me what you think and give me more ideas on how to shed more weight! (...is this Fred?) February 13, 2025, 10:32:37 AM |

Re: Dura Ace bike for 2600$ from Sava
Cannibalizing this bike for the sake of Dura Ace seems like a good motivation. Planet Xs have been bought quite often for this exact reason My thoughts exactly, it's like you are buying Dura Ace and getting free frame, wheelset, 3d printed saddle and other stuff, you can sell them and give back some of your money ![]() February 24, 2025, 10:36:01 AM |

Re: OEM/manufacture for Benotti Fuoco Aero SL?
The predecessor model was produced by workswell. I would assume that they are still working together as the frame looks very similar. However this model is not in the workswell catalogue. And also workswell stopped selling single frames to us private people. March 13, 2025, 06:42:07 PM |

Re: Road bike frame with high stack
i have a long legs / short torso and chose the long teng 268, one reason being, it has a fairly relaxed geometry. I'm tall, but ride medium frames since realizing i'm built weird. For years i rode frames that were too big. I love this bike. I'm a bit of a sail when upright, but it's super comfortable. March 17, 2025, 08:49:13 AM |

Re: Seraph Bikes Superlight 836g X68 - Alternative to SL8 Fakes?
I've been riding my SPCycle R088 since January. Bike rides great. It's practically the same frame as the X68 with EPS molding, but UDH, mechanical cable routing and a standard looking head tube design (no air sniffer head tube). It's also weighs less (mine weighed 790g in size 52cm with hangers) and it costs a bit cheaper. You know what? I hadn't really looked at SPCycle, let alone the R088 frame. It really does look like the SL8 but without the obvious butt sniffer. Same geometry, BSA BB, seatpost, and fork design too. This might actually be the way to go for consumers looking to avoid any stigma of riding a straight up clone. How much does the frame cost? April 08, 2025, 12:38:52 PM |
