Re: Recommendations for lightweight Full suspension XC/Trail frame
Carbonda FM936 or FM909 should be exactly what you're after. May 07, 2021, 05:37:12 PM |

Re: Recommendations for lightweight Full suspension XC/Trail frame
Thanks for the recommendations! With the 936 you are more toward the front wheel than before, with a shorter stem and steeper seat tube. I didn't get any hands or knees trouble so far. May 08, 2021, 04:48:46 PM |

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
I love mine for sure! Now that I upgraded the fork to sid SL the level of comfort on rough trails is really good, the elite one seat post seems to also offer some level of compliance. Regarding your set up, I feel like 30-52 is really to climb walls, not sure on the use case but then again, I live in Houston. The only thing to fault it with: 6mm offset chainring and the BB92… March 11, 2025, 01:17:03 PM |

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
This frame has a 55mm chainline so you need a 0mm offset (sorry not 6, I got confused). At least that’s what I did

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
For shimano and 55mm chainline you will need a 8120 xt crankset (not the usual 8100, boost crank), the 0 offset chainring is for sram boost cranks

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
Seems like a lot of folks racing with the M06 frame. Curious if this frame is also a good choice for recreational trail riding. Nothing radical, I will keep my full suspension bike for that, but a good choice for long assents and flowing descents which are typical of where I ride. Regarding your comment on racing. Due to the more modern geometry than a lot of traditional xc hardtails (67 degree head tube angle) you will definitely have a better time on even harder trails (S2 and S3). I have paired it with a 120mm SID to make it more down country oriented, but it will always be a hardtail and not nice to your hands and forearms. March 12, 2025, 03:23:28 AM |

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
I am not sure if they have fixed the BB cup issue. Mine were oversized but got quickly sorted with some loctite glue. I now put a screw on BB92 (where the 2 half screw together, I think it’s a good solution for this frame

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
No opening but the frame come with headset cover meant to be used with regular stem, the cover has 3 holes in it to run you cabling through it

Re: SP-Cycle M06 build thread
It has been posted by a couple of guys these last few days that they don’t do direct to customer anymore. Get from elite wheels or covet (their new brand apparently) on AliExpress. Some good coupons right now.
