Re: CarbonSpeedCycle CSC wheels - avoid them
registered 3 weeks ago, your only post is this one. Come on CSC people, do you think we are that dumb?

Just got into the site, my man. Not a spy from CSC. I have wheels from CSC, Hunt, Elite, and am building three sets with rims from C-razycarbon (check them out - prices are great) and a variety of hubs - White, Bitex and Hope.

I sincerely really like the CSCs. Great brake track, nice-looking, Brad took tubeless first try without an Airshot, good price. Stand by what I said - I think they make an above average quality wheelset.

Re: CarbonSpeedCycle CSC wheels - avoid them
by the way, the seller blocked me and I get no information on my hub. Aliexpress is not providing any help, they just say: contact the seller. But the seller is not responding. I have a one year warranty, but the warranty from aliexpress is practically pointless.

I assume with everything I buy on Aliexpress that there is NO warranty when I buy...

Re: CarbonSpeedCycle CSC wheels - avoid them update: after 5-6 mail to the aliexpress customer care, the seller unblocked me on the aliexpress chat. Let's see if I will finally get to know the specs of the rear hub

Re: Which gravel wheels? I purchased these Elite Wheels for my Gravel build around 4 years ago.  They have around 8K miles on them now.  Zero issues!  They have never had to be trued, and have not been babied.  Probably 60% of the miles have been on Gravel roads and a lot of single track.  Probably the best set of wheels I have ever purchase for under $400.  Plus they will be on sale on their Black Friday deal in a few days.

Re: CarbonSpeedCycle CSC wheels - avoid them I love that sellers just block customers, behaving like western snowflakes. It's kind of funny.
Always lean hard on AliExpress when you have a problem with a seller, if you can prove you're right, in my experience, they help you.
AliExpress today is not AliExpress 5 years ago.
Same with Chinese sellers in general. It's become much easier to communicate for example. It used to be that the language barrier made it impossible to have any nuanced conversation. Now I feel I can ask fairly complex questions and get an answer that passes the smell test.
Also, they innovate now, they're past the pure copying phase. You can't innovate and be a brain dead donkey, the two don't go together.

Re: Do SRAM etap axs derailleurs work on normal cassettes? (11-34) You need only the AXS RD, Wireless Blips, and a 12-speed cassette with a matching chain. The latest AXS firmware no longer requires levers or a blip box.

3D-printed holders would be a good idea. I feel like leap components are the most used ones, but there are many options based on how your friend wants them set up.

I would go with a road RD. You won't have any issues with the jockey wheels and not using a flat top chain.

However, I suggest you use the SRAM cassettes. Their progression is excellent, and the 10 T is great as it moves most of your most used gears into the center of the block, so you get a nice chain line. You get those excellent 1T jumps where it matters, even with the 10-33. Also, the force and red chains last a long time and are worth the cost.
