Re: 1 x 12 Sram TT Setup I run a 1x Sram 50t chainring and 10/33 casette, was enough for me for a rolling course with a 2.5k elevation. Might change to a 52t for future flat courses.

EDIT: Oh...Adapt has been teasing us with this frame for months now.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
Can anyone explain to me what Z3 quality is and all the other qualities?

Do all theother sellers also use this notation?

I think hambini made it up so he can sell more light carbon frames and get a kick back from them

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)
The real question is: is this Z scale a real bike industry thing or did Lightcarbon more or less invent it as a marketing tool?

I believe it's marketing and the equivalent to a coupon code so influencers can get paid

Re: Frame req? (Aero, dropped SS, high stack, short reach) OK. So here is our goal to do this new frame, same standard as Faxxxx on headtube and bottom bracket testing.
One piece mold and latex molding
High stack, short reach, more aggressive geometry than Factor but less than Pina X
700*35C max tire clearance, UDH, T47 85.5mm bottom bracket, both top and down 52mm headtube
aero seat post but with two types seat clamps for either 7*7 or 7*9 saddle rails
dropped seat stay, aero design
Size 54cm weight would be around 895+/-30g after painted and with front and rear derailleur hanger mounted.
Here is my only question now: which position do you like the battery located ? Seat post or low side of bottom bracket ?

Re: Spcycle New Mold SP-R088 Carbon Road Frame

I am loving it, it looks very good, excited to hear how it rides. We are gonna need you to go try a SL8 afterwards for a comparison

Maybe I can swing by one of the higher end bike shops near me and ask if I can try an SL8!  ;)

To be honest I've never owned a high end road bike. I prefer going on vacation every summer instead! ;D The only reason I went with this frame is due to having familiar geometry and it just happens to have the specs and weight I want within a certain price point. I did keep my TFSA SL6 clone intact and I can compare the two on how they ride. Both are similar, but I'm running that bike geared different with a 52-36/11-32t and the R088 will be on a 50-34/11-34t setup with climbing as a priority.

Re: the new Van Rysel RCR-F
Bigger tyres inherently create more rolling resistance.

I'm no expert and most of my life consists in quoting people smarter than me, but this:
https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/specials/grand-prix-5000-comparison
says:
"When all tires are adjusted to the same comfort level, rolling resistance is nearly the same (0.2 watts max) for all sizes of the GP 5000"

What i do know for sure is that i'm not going back to 25C tyres, and that i have felt first hand how going to 30C, and 32C, from 28C, keeps getting more comfortable.
If my next frame is a 35C frame with high stack, i might make a Plush Baby logo. Or Plush Daddy. Or P Diddy.
