Re: Eddie's Airwolf YFR066 Build Thread Well, my frameset turned up today. First signs weren't encouraging...

However, it had been packaged well inside the box and there doesn't appear to be any damage

I'm happy with the colour (Red Crystal)

The caliper mounts have been painted on the mounting faces so I'll need to sort that but the BB shell is within tolerance and round.

These are the weights...

Frame - Size 54, painted with derailleur mounts and bottle cage bolts 1120g
Fork, uncut 440g
Seatpost assembly 179g
Integrated bars - 400 wide 120mm stem 414g

I'm waiting for a few more bits but I'll post updates in due course.

Airwolf YFM015 Any experience with the new Airwolf YFM015. I've only found it on aliexpress yet, not on the airwolf website.
Could be a nice choice for people looking for a light frame that has a little bit of rear travel compared to a hardtail.

Re: Airwolf YFR068 - 2023 Gravel Frame
Did you use both parts? I can't fit the second/smaller ring in with the brake cables, etc. I am still using the original headset bearings.

You need to replace also bearings with the ones with specialized measures: 49.5x40.5x6.5.

I think that bearings that come with the frame are 49.5x40x6.5. So, with these bearings  the specialized compression big ring gets deformed to assembly, leaving no space for small ring.
I changed everything to specialized bearings and compression ring because I couldn´t find 49.5x40x6.5 bearings when I got one original broken. Seems that those bearings are propietary to Airwolf.

Definitively, headset works much better with 49.5x40.5x6.5 bearings and specialized compression ring. Rode 2000 kms since replacement and headset didn´t come loose at any time.
