I just tried installing a XX SL transmission derailleur on my frame and it's NO GO. The bushing does not fit (opening diameter too small) and the the hanger physically cannot be placed in to the frame with the hanger removed. I'm guessing they did a change up of the hanger middle of production. If your dropout looks like mine, SRAM transmission will not work for your bike.

I'm running AXS setup so I don't have much running through the headset. Only the shock lockout and rear brake is routed within the frame. That being said, YMMV.

Here is my housing routing:


Under the headset I have zip ties that stops the housing from being fed all the way out back to the top:


Another view- the zip tie stops provides enough slack, within the frame, to prevent binding when the handle bar is turned either way.

I've used zip ties on the cable housings, under the headset, to give them slack. Like you, I would get the cables binding when turning the handlebars.

Your Fox X2 is probably hitting the frame here (see picture) and not getting full shock travel.

Hmm... maybe I was too hasty in my judgement. Bolted down and up to air pressure it has about 1 mm of space from hitting the frame.

I just tried fitting a Fox Float X on... only to find that the air canister also hits the frame. This is garbage.

Edit: I made a dumb. It fits fine.

Sorry dude. I'm really bummed as well. LC has e-mailed me saying that they will tweak the mold or the pivot for the future. I can't see that happening any time soon.

Oy.... I just checked and it is indeed hitting in that spot. When I asked, last November during purchase, they told me that if the shock was 185x55 it would fit. The website didn't detail that the x2 will not fit at the time either

Should have done my due diligence to double check the fit after I put pressure in the shock (installed it with the shock aired down).

There's no way these large diameter shocks will fit unless the pivot is re-designed to be a little longer.

It's a shame really,... it's an enduro frame that can't take any enduro shocks.

Yup. That is a Fox x2. It fits within the frame and has about 2-4mm of space on the sides. The back sticks out a bit (<1mm) so the cover, for the rear tire, does not fit. I intend to remove some material on the cover so that I can re-install it.

Wow.. those are pretty bad.

That's worse than the rear seat stay pivots of my LCFS947 when it first arrived. It looked like someone blindly took a dremel tool to shave off a few mm's...
Good thing is that LightCarbon made it right and sent me a new piece, even though I had to pay for shipping. Hopefully they will do the right thing and get you covered, completely.

Yikes... that sucks.
If you do get a new front triangle, the "Salsa Down Tube Protector Blackthorn and Cassidy Carbon - 1563" protector fits well
