I have a Fox DPS 165x42.5 on the way. Is there any hardware, bolts, or bushings I need to purchase to fit this shock to the FM936?

I noticed the seat post begins to bind the deeper you insert into the seat tube.

Is it safe to insert the seatpost until it bottoms out? Or should I cut the seatpost a few cm so that it doesn’t bottom out into the seat tube?

Is there a min/max insertion point?

I have measured the bolt itself and it's an M5 x 18mm with washer, and has 17mm of threads. I haven't measured the threaded nut unfortunately however I'm pretty confident the Risk option above will work.

Hi all, I'm new to the build. Excited to begin!

Are these the correct headset parts? Is this gap normal? I also have this other compression ring which seems to fit better with the silver spacers. I may have mixed up parts with another frame build. Oops!

Last question - Can I source this handlebar bolt assembly anywhere? Long story short, my toddler was playing around with it and stripped the threads :(

Any recommendations where to find a 165x42.5 shock for this frame? I see a bunch of 45mm in the market.

I assume 45mm is not recommended?

Also, will I need to source additional spacers and bushings for fit?
