Can someone point me to 2x CX style 48/36 or some such crankset with 24mm spindle? All I'm finding is road style compact (50/34) or 1x gravel type with many options in smallish chainrings.

Senicx has a couple offerings with a 24mm spindle and 46/30 chainrings. Haven't used them myself but have heard good things about them.

The Lezyne Pocket Drive is small and about 80g, has a little hose too.

I recently installed a sunshine cassette on my bike. Shifts flawlessly and not noisy at all, apparently the plastic spacers and riveted construction dampen the sound. Can't speak on durability yet, but even if it lasts half as much as a shimano cassette you're getting a good deal.

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Subcompact crankset

I have been looking for a 48-32 crankset for a touring/gravel bike but so far haven't found anything affordable or in stock. I have a set of 3x 104/64bcd MTB cranks that I could use, but the only compatible chainrings I've found are made by Spécialités TA in France and are kind of expensive for what they are. There's a huge variety of cheap chainrings on Ali but these are either narrow-wide only or 2/3x rings that fit the bolt spacing but are too small.
Any help would be appreciated! 46-30 would also work for me.

Here are the Spécialités compact chainrings for those interested:

Speaking of which, anyone got a super super light frame built out of open mold parts? I saw someone got a 4.83 kg supersix, curious if anyones actually hit 6kg maybe?

There are some chiner builds on WW, here are some of them:
4.7kg ICAN A2 https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=163352
5.25kg Hongfu FM079 https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=162485
6kg Dengfu FM208 https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=162485

Also here's a very long thread discussing chinese/open mold road frames https://weightweenies.starbike.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=113717

May be residue from the bag they used to mold it, not sure though.

I have two pairs from Rockbros, one photochromic and one polarised. They are pretty sturdy and comfortable. Just beware that the photochromic glasses don't get very dark, it's only a slight tint in most conditions. For me they are perfect for cloudy days. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000955468830.html

I also order from Spexcel and so far have gotten 2 fake shipping numbers, so we will see if they actually fill the order!

I got a couple of bibs and a jersey from Spexcel and so far they have been great, they are very high quality for their price. However, customer service hasn't been great, I ordered an item that wasn't in stock and they didn't issue a replacement until I inquired about it.
I also have a pair of Rockbros photocromic glasses coming in the mail, excited to try them out!

I think you'd be better off purchasing a left-sided Shimano based power meter, that way you don't have to worry about the BB, and you'll have an easier time servicing and/or reselling it. Moreover, you get a reliable Shimano crank, power meter aside. Sigeyi, Xcadey and Magene are said to be accurate and of good value. However it seems that Shimano cranks are in low supply, so you may have to wait a while for them to come back in stock (and back down in price!). This Ultegra PM used to be ~$200 6 months ago, now it's $300! https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32896718766.html

Just bought some stuff from Spexcel. Great prices, will surely update when I receive my order!
Anyone got a reputable brand of cycling shoes? Also a sunglasses supplier (with UV filter of course) would be great.

I've been looking for the same type of frame, but struggled as most of the frames on offer have a more race-oriented geometry. So far the closest I've found is the carbonda CFR 1056. The geometry is very similar to the Endurace indeed. 32c tire clearance, disc brakes and 1050g frame + 480g fork in size M. I'm new to chinese carbon, but from what I've read Carbonda has a good reputation. Maybe this is the one?
