Here: https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4905.0.html

And I think we should ask/organize a groupbuy.

Here's a new build with a mulet with the new SRAM Red shfiters/brakes - GX Transmission derailleur - X0 Transmission cassette and chain
And the Lexon gravel bar https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004788375665.html which is very nice and stiff

To have a better chainline (49mm instead of the road limited to 47.5mm) I did put a non boost MTB crankset.
So there was no more rubbing of the chain.

The setup app is limited to 38T, so with this 44T I did add 6 links(inner+outer) to the 118 advised.
But had to remove one after testing.

From two other builds, for better shifting, the setup key had to be set on B even if the app was saying A.
But not on this one. So the setup app is not really accurate for mullet builds.

super nice build. Any idea of the total cost?

800 bucks for a group this iffy when Rival AXS can be had for 200 bucks more greymarket doesn't make sense to me.

I think the only advantage this one have is that it works with "smaller cassets" but yeah the full SRAM rival online costs 1000eur new with all the pieces (rotors, crankset, cassete etc) so yeah.. I've skipped it and went for the solid and reliable approaches

If you want the gravel version (grevil clone), i can recommend Carbon Speed's version. Peter Xu is on the forum, you can contact him.

We could try to do a groupbuy ahaha and shipping to the same country "smaller ones" so we could save some cash.

Ahahah I'll ask her tomorrow then about mine.
Still annoyed about having chosen the basic colour ahaha. In any case judging by the comments I should have painted it here in a local shop ahah.

Keep us updated

Thanks for this!  Out of curiosity, what size is your frame?  Hoping my 58 will finally ship tomorrow or Thursday ... fingers crossed ... not getting impatient at all ... nope! ... :P

Did you end up getting any update?

Strange. You should have had yours for long. U took the last one in stock and I was waiting for the new batch. According to Wendy, mine is already being painted...

Well I hope there aren't any delays in mine.

  • There is a tiny imperfection in the paint job of which I was informed by LC before shipping and I was asked whether I‘m ok with it or whether I wanted it fixed (further delaying the process). I was ok and received a free bottle cage and mech hanger. Couldnt find any other imperfections so I‘m well happy on how they played this.

I wish I had that opportunity ahaha I went super basic with the colours and now I'd have done sth wilder... Can't change the colour now according to Wendy

Hope that helps.

Viewed from side:
Downtube: 50mm bottom, 45mm top, width 60-40mm (from downside)
Toptube: 20mm bottom,  top 30mm, width 30-50mm (from top side)
Seattube: 45 bottom, 45 top (only the upper area)

Thanks a million

I got some tpu as spares should I just go all tpu?  over the standard rubber?

For me yes. Not that I'm a weight weenie but it's always less weight. There are some ppl who says that they are better with a whatever lower resistance but I don't notice any difference. I guess thsts for pros. I ride for pure joy.
I have 1 rubber tube in the saddle bag though. It's always useful for an emergency either on my tires or other ppl who might need

Ehehe thanks.

I'll wait then to see if someone can give all I asked (and it was quite a bit ahha)

I'm planing on designing some decals for the bike. Does anyone have the measurements on:

- width and height of top tube (close to seat tube and to the headtube)?
- width and height of downtube?
- width (back and side) of the top part of the seat tube (the thickest part of the seat tube)?
- Width of the fork

thanks

Shwalbe one, gp5000 or vitoria corsa depending on the bike and on the costs at each moment. but I always buy them below the 40€/tire mark. I think more than that is actually "trying to be pro when I'm not".
Then I use some TPU tube whatever is cheap
