Component Deals & Selection / Re: Are these parts compatible?
« on: January 12, 2024, 02:13:36 PM »
Yes, all is good.
BCD110 4 arms crank - compatible with the chainring
RD will take 52T and is compatible with 12 speed

The only thing not guaranteed is chainline depending on your frame
Also just checking but you are aware this is not a real GX eagle AXS despite the title?

You definitely don't want a floor pump or a mini overpriced cube. An electric tire pump like the xiaomi mijia 2S is excellent, it's about the size of a powerbank but thicker, has a better gage and the battery lasts forever. There are countless options on ali it's getting hard to choose. I have a xiaomi 2S which is amazing, I don't really use my floor pump at home anymore. Supposedly the xiaomi is not the best anymore but you can't go wrong with it

The official one or a knockoff that potentially got a cease and desist?

Your guess is as good as mine, translations always suck with IGS. I would assume the latter still

You're in luck because that was something I omitted - it does now have rerouting I just missed it, "Auto Back on Track When Veer Off Course"

Must have gotten over my head because this is personally a feature that pisses me off like nothing else does. I've always wanted to chuck my garmin in the river when their masterfully-designed to be annoying beeps come in the moment you take the smallest shortcut, I really hate rerouting

New IGS630s, adding strava live segments, doubling storage, adding dual band GPS, increased battery life from 35 to 45 hours

The people worried about adding 70 grams of key are not the people who ever leave their bike unattended to begin with  ;D

But there is already a national registry of bikes (sometimes mandatory) in a couple of countries in europe. Wake me up when that deters a single theft

How are the Zrace centerlock discs? I have no idea what to look for in a disc but 4.50€/pc is tempting

Are you making a conscious effort to pull on the return? My point was that you shouldn't try doing any of that. It's okay to have a small unbalance (although 45/55 is pretty high, do you have a condition perhaps?) and specifically training to "correct" those is kind of a waste of time. It's just an interesting stat and of course spiders can't differentiate left pulling from right pushing but it shouldn't matter much as you shouldn't be pulling

115
Technically yes, spiders can't tell left pulling from right pushing, but it really shouldn't matter in the real world. Most people don't pull at ALL, so it's safe to assume all the power comes from pushing the other side. So unless you only have one leg, then spiders should have a pretty good L/R accuracy.
Unless of course you still believe in the "round pedaling" efficiency bullshit and make a conscious effort to pull

116
I guess it makes it as bad as new campagnolo  ;D

It's great to see 48-32 options coming to ali. When I needed gravel rings last year there wasn't a single 48-32 on there, it went straight from compact to 46-30

Yes, it was me. I ordered a thermal jacket in S, but it was way too small. I ordered a L afterwards and that fit. I recently ordered the M since I've lost some weight. They are frequent choice items so they are about 18USD after coupons.
This was at the beginning of my Ali addiction and before I looked at the size tables. Since checking these I have rarely made that mistake (the Deravie jerseys are very small). I just measure a jersey that fits and compare the size table. I know now that I need about 45cm 1/2 chest size. This can be a S, or an M depending on the brand / model...
The store was"YKYWBIKE YKYWBIKE Cycling Store"

What did you say to convince them to give you a refund? Did you admit you ordered the wrong one or gaslit them into thinking they sent the wrong one?
I personally did have references, my darevies are EU L/asia XL and I did check the sizing chart, but it's just so wrong. It should have been my size but it's huge

Received YKYW kit and the jersey is COMICALLY large. EU L/Asia XL just like my darevie but it feels like a 3XL to the point I kind of feel scammed
I remember someone (Tidydinosaur?) getting a refund because of a sizing error, I'm considering complaining but don't know how to approach it, do I just tell them it feels way too big? Also what brand did you get a refund from? They were bought from the official YKYW store
