I think you could go with any of the normal colors in glossy, or pay a little more and choose matte. Eddie also said they could do metallic in a few colors and the color shift style in a couple.

I had an order in for the metallic orange. I'd post a picture of the color on another frame , but I don't know how to post pictures. If you Google search "Tideace bike orange" you can see the color on another frame. Eddie said it was $30 for that metallic color.

I chickened out on it, though, and went with matte orange. That was also $30. I wish I could choose the Pantone, though. I want a really light yellowish orange like the Deviate Highlander or the new Capra Core model. I don't really know what the orange I'll get looks like.

Even that posting says 150mm travel, then later in the same posting says 140mm. This is making it hard to figure out if I need to get a 150mm fork or 160mm fork. I'm leaning towards 150mm, but I'm just not sure. I'd like to have the fork here when the frame gets here.

I would go with a Mezzer, but the Durolux is much less expensive. I'd love to try a Mezzer, though. I was gonna do Mara, but someone on mtbr pointed out there were new McLeods on eBay going pretty cheap. When I looked the size was what is needed for this frame so I snagged one. Hope it is good.

Have we figured out if 150mm or 160mm fork is ideal? I know Haideli website says 150mm, but I seem to remember talk of 160mm being the better option. Itt's been so long, I can't even remember things we've already discussed about the bike.

I plan on getting a Suntour Durolux for the fork. I have a new Manitou McLeod ready to go on the back. I'm gonna try Microshift Advent X for the drivetrain. Still thinking about what wheelset to get.

This is my first build. I have a rear shock all ready to go but is there any way to know what shock mounting hardware we will need? Or do we need to wait to get the frame to measure it all?

How much did it cost to have it wrapped?

Someone said that same think in one of the YouTube comment sections. He said search m19 crank to find the alloy bolts on AliExpress. Thanks for your help.

Do you mean the bottom bracket from Haideli may not work with these cranks? Or do you mean the bottom bracket that comes with these cranks may not work with the frame?

I was gonna use these cranks and the bottom bracket Eddie sends. Won't it already he in the frame?

This will be my first build. Any reason these cranks won't work?

I'm starting to collect parts now. I figure I may as well try a cheap set of Chinese cranks. Anyone know if this one will work? Anyone have any better suggestions?

Component Deals & Selection / Wide carbon handlebars?
« on: May 09, 2021, 05:14:32 PM »
I want to get some carbon handlebars but everything is see on AliExpress is really narrow. Does anyone know where to find carbon bars that are 800mm or 780mm wide?

You can try going to the Haideli site and do a live chat. I think they have that feature. Just remember they are in China so the time zones will be way different.

Email Eddy and see if you can still get in. He is the point of contact at Haideli. His info is earlier in this thread.
