Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Ogevkin frame suggestion

Popular carbon frame manufacturers from China include Yeoleo, Trifox, Winspace, OG-Evkin. These brands put their Logos on the bikes and stand by their warranties. You can also include Seraph (TanTan), as they have lately been selling frames with their logos. There are also companies like Carbonda, VeloBuild, LightCarbon, that produce open mold frames with warranties as well. Have a look around the forum and you will see various builds by different companies (as well as reviews and comments on customer service). I personally ordered from Carbonda (CFR 1056 due to the geometry and BSA BB) and I'm pretty happy with their communication.

Made my payment on the 5th August, and Wing today sent me a picture of the painted frame.

Katie just sent me the photo. I went matte RAL 2012 it looks rad. I'm stoked.

That looks gorgeous! I have a feeling it looks better in real life, with outdoor lighting.

DPD dropped a parcel today :-) in fact there was a bag with some hardware, including what I ordered, cable guides for the frame holes but no extra seat clamp or whatever. So I'll approach Wing to order some more spare parts.
In general the frame looks really good. I quickly installed the headset (not finally, just dry) and the fork sits with minimal gap in the frame still turning freely, the crown race went smoothly onto the steerer, seat post matches tightly... nothing to complain so far!

Nice! Care to share what components you will be putting on the bike? BB, saddle, etc.?

I just bought a set of wheels from https://www.elite-wheel.com/elitewheels-bwt-aerodynamics-wheelset-45mm-rim-depth-tubeless-compatible-p3119055.html.

But I purchased it from the Alibaba procurement, saving a bit of money (though no logos, it still has the 2 year warranty). They're with EMS and once they arrive I'll look to measure the spoke tension and weight.

Light bicycle are also pretty well reviewed and their life-time warranty Falcon Pro series would probably be my next wheelset.

Finished the build last Saturday.

My first proper road bike, my first carbon frame. Nothing fancy.

I didn't build it myself. I brought most of the components to a bike shop in the neighborhood, and let the pro do it for me.

Everything is within expectation. I am satisfied with it, although I wish I had the patience to get the frame painted and to wait for some deeper wheels.

I had a concern that it would be too aggressive for me. It turned out that, with all of the supplied spacers, it's within my comfort. I could probably afford to remove the 0.5mm spacer.

That's a really nice picture. How are the Juin brakes? I'm still debating between the full hydraulics of the R7020, or going with a set of Juin.

Just placed an order for the 1056 a few days back. Wing was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Looks like they only have BSA BBs now? I was asking if they had any complaints of debonding/stripping of the bottom bracket for BSA and got this response.

Quote
"Our BSA-68 has never had the problem of stripping, because most customers prefer BSA, so we changed to BSA, and we should not change back to BB86 in the future."

Just found this website from malaysia : https://www.icebikeheaven.com/

is it a legit reseller ?

Thanks

The RM prices are in Malaysian Ringgint (MYR), not RenMinbi (RMB), so a different exchange rate (USD 1 = MYR4.3) . The RC300 retail at RM459, or USD109.

They have a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/icebikeheaven/) and a Shopee (think Malaysian AliExpress) page https://shopee.com.my/icebikeheaven.

You can check reviews there. They are pretty legitimate for local buyers, but I have no idea if they handle international deliveries as smoothly.
