After almost two weeks of fighting with courier, they were able to deliver the package thanks God.

17
So i ordered frameset TanTan x38, but because direct delivery cost as much as frame itself i tried to deliver it using forwarder with much cheaper delivery price, so seller can't refund me the cost of the frameset. So the problem is, tracking says that parcel is arrived at forwarder warehouse, but they couldn't find it and ask for the stamp or sign on the invoice, but because of language barrier i asked several Chinese people, but they couldn't understand what i need and they say that in China you don't sign package, they just deliver it and this is it, but my forwarder says that they only accept this kind of document, and after i will give them it, they will start further investigation.

TLTR: if someone have Chinese friend who can contact courier and ask for this document, it would be extremely helpful.

Hey patliean1

I was thinking about tire clearance, i noticed that you are using wheel with 23mm inner width, could it be that it smaller inner width will fit with 32c? Like standard 21mm

19
Hey there

I found these wheels: https://www.mostsport.com/700c-50mm-super-light-weight-carbon-spoke-wheels-for-road-disc-brake-mscsw50281/ and they match 100% to my needs, cost about 600$, carbon spokes, dtswiss style hub, 2:2 lacing, but I'm not sure if I should try them, I have several concerns:

1) hub is inhouse made, so, no reviews of them and I've never heard about them (beside this, they also have 2:1 lacing hub, exactly the same as light bicycle uses, but it's 2:1, which I'm not a big fan of this type of lacing.)
2) 20 spokes, I have concerns about this kind of small number is spokes, what do you think?

I'm just want to hear your opinion about these kind of deals, should I give and try? They also have Saphim CX Ray spokes with Bitex r312 for about the same price, but I want to try these.

This identical frame is being sold under the Ceccotti label on Aliexpress. There the seller states a maximum tire clearance of 28mm.
Yes, but when I asked seller directly, he claimed that 32c tyre will fit to this frame

21
So it seems that the frame have the same clearance as the OG foil - 30c

22
Looks good patliean1, could you please also check if it fits 32c tyre?

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: TT-x36 / TT-x38

Doesn't look good to me. Foil looks way "aero"  ;D
Yeah, it's non drive said, but from the drive side, the fork is even bigger then falath EVO, so it's looks more aero from there :), and also one of the biggest difference is BB area, foil have bigger area

24
I also asked this question Hambini:

BTW my question originally was how much no hole rim will be stiffer and will it be comparable to the rim without holes and carbon spokes.

25
They have different rim sizes, including 28mm, so no problem.with that

26
Wow, thank you very much guys, I'm really changing my mind in to the Saphim spoke side.

btw, i found a factory with UCI registration and they supply PRO team and they sell carbon spokes wheelset with the same hub as Light Bicycle (https://www.mostsport.com/700c-50mm-carbon-spoke-wheels-for-road-disc-brake-super-light-weight/) and some in-home made hub (which i like much more because of 2:2 lacing pattern and ratchet system https://www.mostsport.com/700c-50mm-carbon-spoke-wheels-for-road-disc-brake-super-light-weight/) and all of these wheels in the range of 500-600$ which is crazy price.

27
So, seller sent some photos before shipping, looks really good.

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Carbon spokes or CX Ray?
« on: June 18, 2023, 02:27:48 PM »
Well, as title suggests, I'm right now between two wheelset, carbon spoke wheelset but with rim (nipple) holes vs standard Saphim CX Ray but without rim holes, so which one do you think should be stiffer and more responsive?

29
Heads up: This frame uses the same front derailleur design as both VeloBuild and Rinasclta/Air Wolfe.

Which is precisely why I chose eTap for my VeloBuild CX-002 build. Having used that FD design with mechanical shifting on 3 previous Chinese bikes, I refuse to ever go back. Like ever ever ever.

What is the problem with them? I want to use 105 11 speed with this frame

I also ordered from AliExpress seller (SEQUEL) because it's cheaper and they sell different type of handlebar (which is the same as The One handlebar), it looks nicer in my opinion, also they included for 10$ ceramic BB.
