throwing out words like "ridiculous" and "unprofessional" seem a bit inappropriate in my opinion.  From the very beginning, we knew this was a pre-production frame, during a time of global crisis.
This.

If you're unhappy, move along,. It's a voluntary group buy. No need to trash a respected vendor in a truly unprecedented time of global economic upheavel.

Those were built by iubike (now defunct) and were on a previous bike.  EIE has what looks like the same rim:  https://www.eiecarbon.com/a29c25d22s-mountain-bike-carbon-rims.html

I almost went with SLX brakes because the hose routing was so much cleaner for the rear, but the levers didn't mesh well with the older XTR 11sp shifter for me and I didn't feel like converting it to i-spec.
Their wheels are really cheap. Wonder if anyone has tried them?

Good info on those and others in this thread:  https://forums.mtbr.com/29er-components/cheap-chinese-carbon-rims-673410-46.html#post14698207
Thanks, had forgotten about the Cheap Chinese Wheel thread.

This site can’t be reached www.carbonda.com took too long to respond.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
No issues for me.

Take a look at the Carbonda FM936.  http://www.carbonda.com/mountain/full-suspension/98.html

It's not exact, but it's pretty close with a little slacker HTA and the updated more vertical STA. It's probably similar to what MB will go to with their next update.

Hi - Robert here from Austin. Funny thing is I'm not sure how I ended up here.  Was researching a new MTB and some how ended up here.  Haven't bought the new bike yet, but got in on the 831 group buy. Haven't built a bike since I was a kid and it was a BMX bike so this will be something new for me.

I'm in for a 17.5 in natural carbon color.  Shipping to Austin.
