Not a single item in my cart were/are on sale.   :'(

I did find and order another hiking water filter that was a few dollars off.
Seems to me like the majority of the bicycle part prices for the items in my cart, had price increases earlier in the year. I haven't seen large enough discounts to open my wallet.  At this point in the summer I will wait for the 11/11 sales.

I am on the fence, the frame I would like to build is not even available yet in L, SP cycle say september, I wonder if I am better off following your lead and wait for 11/11. I have $500 worth of stuff in the cart, mays be smarter to wait...

a bit disappointed, no great deals on all the components I had selected for my built :/

On the crankset, that's shimano pricing almost, I was hoping to find something in the upper 600s grams for about $50, I'll keep on looking, thanks for the links though. Also need to be compatible with BB92

What lightweight crankset 32T do you guys recommend for MTB build? (going with Sroad 12S cassette and YBN chain)

could you share built specs to have a reference?

OK to go full Chinese components as well and I'd like to keep the weight down. What's a reasonable weight expectation and what should I focus on? I think I need about 130mm of travel.

Budget will dictate how low you can go on the weight.

That’s also the frame I am contemplating but I don’t like that cable routing option, seems like a couple of tight radiuses on the cables

Here is the solution and routing Scott used on their high end model (using wireless derailleur). They do that on many bikes on their line up so it guess it’s ok…

Hi there, Ludo checking in. After some 25y away from mtb and outside of biking altogether expect for the stroll around one, I am seriously considering dipping back in with a chiner project of my own. I live in Houston so I’ll be going for a hardtail, trying to keep both weight and budget down. Right now leaning toward the SPcycle M06 frame (if/when L becomes available). I’m starting to have a fair idea of what I want to put around that frame with RYET 3D seat, carbon post, one piece carbon stem/bar, probably used Rockshox fork with 100mm travel, some Chinese origin 1x11/12 group set, Chinese brakes, carbon wheels (nova technology hub?)… the sourcing and assembly are just as appealing to me as the end product at this point.
Already found a bunch of info there, thanks to all who pave the way by testing and sharing feedback!
