Been playing with the the B screw to no avail. These Shimano derailleurs also have a marking on the underside to indicate 51t cassette teeth mark. Adjusted accordingly and there is slight improvement but is still not 100%. Under load shifting is painful. From the ongoing sale on AliExpress I got 12s groupset and DT Swiss MicroSpline freehub + 10-51 M6100 cassette while the chain will be 12speed SRAM or Shimano which I already have. With this I will have eliminated all Chiner components from the drivetrain. Fingers crossed!

The chain length is quite important to have a smooth shifting too.

I ran across this Wheel Top Electric Derailleur set at a better price than other sellers, and one can get even more off via coupons for one more day.
I love the first set I installed on a new build I am working on, so I ordered this one to put on my latest 29er 12 X1 hardtail.

meh... it still needs a derailleur hanger  ;D
Looking forward to your feedback about it !

Anyone have experience with those ultralight 7 gram cages?

Which ones ?

I like Ritchey's solutions better...

If you have to pass only two hoses.
Otherwise, this is an open door to give the headset bearings a regular bath.

a lot of pain for a gorgeus look.. cabling going through the bearing is a nightmare

What nightmare ?!?
Removing the bar tape if any, opening the hydraulic circuit, maybe put back a new olive, and rebleed if unlucky, come on  ;D
Putting a stainless steel bearing on top could certainly help delay the pain.

As expected the FM 909 is UDH already.
The FM 936 is left in the dust  ::)
Maybe we could come up with a 3D printed part as @adroitrider pointed out.

With the side ones, I was losing often bottles on bumps.
At the beginning they were firm, but then after a while they started to get loose.
Maybe I was unlucky, as there are many builders and got a poor model.

I have probably 10 years or so on either of these...

I had these before and found the little bottom piece quite fragile.
It snapped on both bikes I did install it.
I must be too brutal with the bottles, if you had them for 10+ years :)

More expensive than before,  but these are great:
US $19.46  19% Off | OG-EVKIN BC-006 Carbon Bottle Holder Titanium Alloy Ultra-Light Bottle Cage Bike Bottle Holder For MTB /Road Bicycle Accessories
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJw76Dp

They are light, and I never lost a bottle, on bumpy trails.
But the carbon makes your bottles get black.

Otherwise for half the cost but 7g more ::)

But I find the bottles to be harder to put and get
Decathlon sells the same model under their name.

I'm using it for all my road rides.
Combined with a Karoo 2.

Two usages:
1) when a car approaches, you are warned, and know if it comes fast
2) after launching an attack to the peloton, I know if some are catching up ;)

I asked Carbonda about UDH and the new SRAM derailleur for the FM936 and FM909, let's see what they say.

... so I can't yet give you a report. I'll hopefully get out on them today or tomorrow and let you know.

I look forward for your feedback, my winter shoes are at the end of their life.
I hope you'll get horrible conditions, for a proper test ;)

Wow, thats crazy amounts of money. And I dont like the idea of the rear mech being direct mount either.

I've seen an MBR video where they show how they did hit the frame/derailleur many times. And talk about a race Nino Shurter crashed on that side, but was able to continue the race without the need to straighten the hanger.

Anyone ask about a rear triangle with UDH so we can run the new Sram stuff?

I was going to ask the same question ???
