« on: September 13, 2023, 12:18:19 PM »All these bad reports are really starting to tarnish LTwoo's reputation and is probably inadvertently affecting other Chinese groupset manufacturers (like Sensah). If anything they should be wooing the hardcore cycling enthusiast market, but it seems like they're just pissing everyone off who really wants to give them a chance.
my thoughts exactly. i was so close to pulling the trigger on er9 and mix/match it with some other stuff i had lying around, but after a bit more reading these bad reports on here and on a few more english and german forums, instead decided to go down a di2 105/ultegra frankengroup route.

I think their in house hub brings price down a fair bit. I'm going to grab a set of prox wheels for a gravel build I'll do shortly. Hard to beat that price.

Wanted something a little longer reach than my Endurace, similar stack and fully integrated cables. Felt like I was gambling with comfort too much on the 0X. I really liked the eurobike form of the 17, but in its current aesthetic, it's just too meh. T47 would've been nice, but BB86 it is.

Ended up canning the order and went with the R068-D instead. In the end I felt the LCR0X's stack is just a little too low for me. I think for my body proportions, the 68 is probably as low as I can get while still slamming the stem...

« on: September 08, 2023, 12:14:24 PM »I always shake my head seeing lanky ass tall cyclists who look like famished concentration camp survivors, while rocking the bone density of an 80 year old grandma. They'll break their hip if you tip them over! A taller cyclist aero position is a shorter cyclist's coffee ride position!
Being shorter, you can pack more muscle, higher bone density and have a more explosive power-to-weight ratio. Also like you said, our smaller bikes look way better!

HB088-42x120 remain the final one.

Including with frame/fork/seat post/HB088 integrated handlebar/headset/2 spacers/front & rear thru axle skewers/computer mount.
Also add with UPS delivery cost, and paypal payment fee.
Frameset with UD matte finish without decals.
Order now, you can receive the frameset after 7-9 days.
Does indeed look like the price for the frame has increased, but based on Patrick's feedback I'm ready to make a purchase. Just wish I could get it painted for a reasonable cost.
Yishun will paint it I believe. It's pretty good. I got my forks done in gloss black and it was surprisingly cheap.

I'm 190cm tall so I don't usually consider the small sizes. In a 58, sl8 is a 73.5 and, yes, 72 is comparatively slack.
