I'm starting to see Shimano Di2 105 groupsets dropping on AliEx and also LTwoo ERX. The prices are fairly close, so I'd rather get Di2 if I was in the market to go electronic.

Is this guaranteed genuine? Cheapest historical prices on european sites is 1150€ for the full groupset I believe. This only lacks the drivetrain which can be had for ~230€. Pretty big discount, sounds too good to be true

Its Basswood by the-house, so yes same Flybike 696 mold which they paint in metallic forest green. To run full outer from shifter to mech, I will have to remove the cable stopper because it is not designed to accept full outer and then it will be ugly plus impractical. Does your cable stop/guide allow passing cable outer? Since cable outer on mine cannot go in the frame I have to do segmented. One outer housing segment from shifter to frame and one more from rear triangle to derailleur.
On my Fuji, I have the same setup but the sleeve is only used under the BB area (say about 8-10 inches).. inside the trapdoor, otherwise the cable runs free without any sleeve in the frame

Oh yes, that might be something that wasn't included in your frame. Buying direct from carbonda they give you a spare cable headport thingy that doesn't have the cable stops, they are all wide enough to accomodate full housing. I also removed the plastic piece under the BB for that. Since you can't, I really hope your cable liners aren't horribly kinked like mine were (I could not feed a cable through them at all) or you might have to get new liners or cut them into pieces at the kinks

Guys, silly question probably but what do you do with these cable sleeves/guides for internal routing? I got pretty long sleeves. Cut them? Remove them entirely or what? The cable port under BB shell has a removable cover so the cables are well protected anyway from any dirt getting kicked up from the road. What other purpose these sleeves serve?
Looks like a 696 (painted the same as mine?) so you have the option of either running full outer housing from shifter to mech, and in this case you can just remove these entirely (you can use the liners to help guide the housing as you remove it). Or you can run segmented and in this case you would keep those orange cable liners and run the cables through them, but even then on the 696 I think the trapdoor under the BB has too many kinks so I would cut them around that mark so you can have a "checkpoint" and feed it back at a better angle.

So this might sound like a bodge, but I actually have gotten away with bleeding using just the cone at the top. None of this syringe bleeding business that is demonstrated in the videos. I have gotten effective bleeds just by hooking everything up, putting a bleed cone at the top with oil, and squeezing the brakes a few times until the bubbles stop coming out. It takes a couple of sessions to get to 100% bled, but you get completely usable brakes after the first session, and then the few bubbles trapped in the caliper come up after a couple of shakedown rides. SUPER easy.

You don't even open the bleed nut on the caliper? Is this suitable when you might need to top up some oil? You just open the shifter bleed port, screw the funnel, put some mineral oil and squeeze for a while?
I'm probably going to do my first bleed next week on my new build and every video is different. GCN and RoJ's seem the easiest/most intuitive

They look great, do they all come with glueless patches now? Although I'm a little sad they replaced the metal pink caps with the generic black plastic ones... I must have 10 of these from old inner tubes already. I'm gonna pick up some gravel tubes (I run tubeless, they're just emergencies) and hopefully report back.

I had a similar small carbon shaving above my BB on a 696

Asked my LBS who does carbon repairs and he says it's perfectly fine

480USD for frame,fork,seatpost
12USD for headset
26USD for F&R axles
5USD per additional mech hanger

Quoted from my email last year. I ended up getting their headset but avoided the axles because I've read bad stuff about them, plus the price is honestly not even interesting.

Both 11s and 12s available in carbon+alloy blades?
Why are the calipers branded ZRace? Are they the same with another logo and different pads? They look pretty good but they seem to have a philips screw for the pads. Which is still an improvement over Shimano's flatheads. It's a minor detail but it pisses me off that those still exist.

I know the shifters have the same pull ratio as shimano, does that mean you could use GRX mechs even for 12s? Has anyone tried pushing the LTWOO rear mech capacity? Rated for 32T is pretty awful especially for gravel.
Edit: I double checked and they are rated for 36T :)

Oh dang, all sizes were in stock yesterday! Regarding the thru axles, they are the usual 12x100 and 12x142 but not sure if they are included in the package. Sent them a mail but haven't heard anything yet.

Lucky for you I asked an unrelated question that got lost in translation so they sent me the axle dimensions instead... Which I didn't need but I guess it's an up to date spec lol.

I think those are Carbonda's own that they updated because they did not use to specify a torque spec.

If you already have a frame and want a third party here you go:
https://aliexpress.com/item/4000493053597.html
The sizes are 12*171*m12 and 12*121*m12

I bought another version with handles and it's not worth it to me. I put my axles with handles for sale and will be upgrading to those when they sell.

If you remove the cable entirely and still won't get all 10 clicks, it's definitely a warranty issue

Had the same stupid issue recently (Shimano though) and this checklist fixed it for me:
Do you get 6 clicks when the shifter doesn't have a cable?
Flash a light through the cable slot and check if there isn't dust or debris
Make sure the cable is under proper tension when you shift - Firmly grip it between your fingers

Thank you for your kind answer, nice build!

Okei, so for now I am still unsure if i will grab the CFR707 or the CFR696, I dont know which one would suit me better.

Regarding the Wheelset, I will also look around at Ebay and go for something cheaper. I wasn't aware that there are wheelsets for around 200€ when everything at Ali is like 400+ :D Also Centerlock will be choosen.

I will surely go for the LTWOO Set, but not full hydraulic, as that is just to expensive. This is the reason I will go with the ZRACE BR-005.

Also I got a new Question: Are 36mm Wheels possible with a 18mm (inner) rim width?

Do you mean 36mm wheels on a 18mm inner rim width? Yes of course that's possible and well within the specs

My bad I thought you were going for the new LTWOO hydraulic option, not the hybrid brakes. 1500€ should be doable then, especially if you don't have the frame painted
Keep in mind the wheelsets you're getting for 200€ used will never be carbon, but that shouldn't be a big deal for gravel

I built (okay, I still need to bleed the brakes and put in sealant but it's 95% complete) a 696 for the same purpose and also had the idea to use Lighterpack. Here's my build for inspiration. Note that weight might be ~200g off because I got too impatient and installed the components before weighing them like the tires so I'm using the retail weight.
Hope it inspires you. Also note that I took a very expensive custom paint. Yours might be a lot less.

My 2cts about the wheel questions:
Centerlock 1000%. Fuck 6bolt. And get the HG tool lock, not BB lock
The hub depends on the cassette you will get, not the groupset. You can get microspline or XD cassettes to run with LTWOO, it's up to you. It just needs to be compatible with the cassette.
I sourced both of my wheelsets on the used market, I'm happy about both and might upgrade to carbon later. Anything with DTSwiss 350 hubs is good imo. I also considered Carbonda wheels but I changed my mind when I was told shipping the wheels would be extra.

Also my opinion, as much as I'm excited for LTWOO hydraulic unless you find them at MSRP I wouldn't bother. I bought my GRX groupset before it was anounced but I don't regret it. There's a good chance you can find GRX new (mine was stripped from a new bike) for about the same price as LTWOO if not cheaper.

Not Aliexpress but a company (in the USA) that is going out of business is blowing off Carbonda 696 frames at $400 a pop. If anyone is interested -

https://www.the-house.com/frbcag49766zz-framed-bikes

Only one color choice but it does look fantastic and popular for gravel type bikes. Don't think 696 needs any introduction. I'm close to pull a trigger on one myself.
Priced at 1000 for me. I like that color though, wish I had gotten it instead of my chameleon green

That was months ago though (and I didn't have positive temperatures for months after the purchase so I could not even try it after getting it) do you reckon I could still open a dispute for the dangerous saddle?
