Well, I took the bolts off and it feels like three of the four bearings are not smooth anymore. Luckily I have three replacement bearings ready. The two new ones popped off easy. How do I get the one bearing off that was already in the rear triangle?

Crap. I must have missed the install instructions.  I just put the bearings on and tightened to 17nm. I rode it once like that already.

Are you asking if we get the post inserted further?

Yes. Earlier in the thread many if us had this problem where it was catching on a lip in the seat tube. I had to file mine down. It took some work but I finally got it in all the way.

That's the screw in press for one, right? Is it really better?

I got my bolts in the mail from JJJ a few days ago. I was using the 3D printer spacers before getting these. I was pretty happy with the spacers' improvements. I  installed the bolts with washers, and gave the rear a shake. I can still get it to move, but it seems like even less than with the spacers.

Took it for an initial ride on Sunday. I'm very happy with them. I didn't really notice any rear end flex while riding. Not saying there is none now, but it wasn't noticeable to me. I am not the greatest rider and it was only one ride, but it so far so good. And I'm not a light rider at 265lbs.

I was more concerned about a creaking sound I have had since before winter. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the bottom bracket now. I'm still using the cheap provided one, but want to switch it out now. Will any BB92 bracket do? Or is there something special I need to look out for? Recommendations on a good one?

Threaded bottom bracket, shorter seat tube, and no kink in the top tube? I'm jealous.  Wish this was the original.

That doesn't look like a VPP frame to me. It doesn't have counter-rotating links.

But it seems useful if it let's you adjust the bike's travel. I dig this bike. I just don't $2500 dig it.

The frame looks fantastic, but seem to be at regular retail prices. I'm here because I'm looking to save money. Otherwise, I'd be all over one of these.

So I guess it's not based on a Chinese frame. Too bad. It looks great.

If not, I would love to see a Chinese version of this frame. It looks pretty good.
