Does anyone have experience with these? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3256803892892709.html

They look very interesting.

A challenge with the MTB frame route is limitation on front chainring size.  Most likely it is 36T or smaller.  Gravel frames will have something similar to 46T.

An example of one build with MTB frame http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,2837.msg20146.html#msg20146

5 pots?

Oops - dang near created a new category

The pads look similar to Shimano 4 pots - except for the horns on the outer part.

Good look on the Kydex.  I made mine a bit wider and wrapper it around the edges of the down tube.  I also did a small drain hole after hearing of someone with black mold in their tubes (not this frame).

Thanks for the heads up on the ebay site.  PlanetX ships to US from their website but the ebay store seems finnicky about allowing it.

A few XLs - all for 100mm travel.  Switching to a 140mm fork shifts angles, slackens ST and HT angles, raises bb, incites anger in purists, and causes cosmic anomalies.  However, it might make the frame closer to a hardcore hardtail.

The Workswell has a lot going for it.  The 27.2 seat tube is a limitation.  It would probably be ok with a 120 fork, but longer may start throwing off other geometry.  Recent quote from them - $519/frame plus $250 US shipping.

Interesting chainstay on the Airwolf.  The threads on here discussing warranty issues with some of their frames had me concerned.  Trying out a highball clone with a bigger fork was one consideration - $280 shipped made it less of a gamble.

I am after something with modern geometry that supports a 140-150mm travel fork.  An XL size for the 6'4" types is a must. Any recommendations?  Specs from an aluminum frame - Nukeproof scout, for reference.

You can use the headset that ships with the frame - use a star nut and different top cap if you want.
