My opinion is: they have to take their lost. As Bert said, they tested every frame and mounted brakes . Lets believe this is true. In that case, this frame should never being sent to you. It slipped through their quality-tests. So, now matter what, they should send you a new frame. And if they want the old frame back, they have to pay you the return-shipping costs. The only cost you may have to pay is the customs in your country. So be it. That's 'fair', I think

So, I hope Bert is reading this and realize that if he solve this in the right and decent way, it's GOOD and 'cheap' publicity for him and his company.
After this, when there is a solution or not, everybody know if his company is reliable and worth it to spend a bit more money for their service and quality.

I hope for a good outcome, for you and also for Bert's company ( good publicity = more business for him ).

Sorry to hear this (again).

I had the same problem. They sent me the wrong wheel set, it was not what I ordered.
They offered me to buy a new set and sell the wrong wheel set on my own. No way I agreed that.

It was not a option for them to let me sent the wheel set back, because of the customs in China, costs 120 USD. And they won't pay me my shipping costs and my second payment to the Dutch customs.

So, after some communication on the email about their fault, costs for them, cost for me, no time to wait again (because my bike trip in Germany),  etc etc, we came to a solution that was fine for both of us. I ordered a new wheel set with enough discount to my satisfaction. So, now I have laying a spare wheel set.

I've learned that the warranty / service in China isn't that great as we have over here.
The profit is low, the cost (shipping, custom, paypal) are high.
So, if you want really good service, the same as at the LBS, don't buy in China, but at your LBS and pay a lot more.

They don't realize that they can have much more business if the give good service in case of warranty or manufacturing faults.

About the chain drop: isn't your chain to long? When the chain is on the smallest cog and on the biggest chainring, the two dérailleur wheels should stay above each other, they should make a vertical line. And are you using a rd with a short cage? I'm using a long cage and no problem. Not even chain slapping the frame.

Really awesome bike!

About the seat post: use hair spray to make your seat post a little bit thicker. I had the same problem and this with carbon paste solved it for me and it hold now for months.

i guess this is the best way to show my problem, no words needed... :(
oh man, that doesn't look good.
Are you sure there isn't a problem in the dropouts ?
Otherwise, it's a production failure. I hope you can solve this problem without any costs.

It's now to XMIPlay to show how good their service is ...

Please pay some attention to the nice and professional cable holes!

And here a picture of Peter and the bike. (now we have a face with the name :) )

« on: January 08, 2015, 10:24:14 AM »
..., insert your valve stem, assemble your tire bead on one side, add your sealant, install the bead on the other side, inflate (easiest to inflate using an air compressor), shake the wheel horizontally to make sure the sealant covers the bead and tire sidewall.  If you lose most of the air before the tire seals, add more air and shake more.  Repeat as needed.
I can open my valve to put the sealant through the valve. That makes it a lot easier.

I put on the tire (both sides), fill it with a lot of air at ones, to let the tire pop on (with a popping sound), when the tire is settled, I let go the air, put in the sealant though the valve. Fill it again with a lot of air. And then shake it to seal the tire. Leave it for a couple of hours, shake it again. And hopefully it's completely sealed. Repeat it until it's sealed.

I used Fun Works Tubeless Felgenband Ultralight 9,5mX21mm.
No problems.

The power stops are probably good to get a feel for just how hard I can brake before going over the bars.
With the right (basic) technique you'll never going over your bars, no matter how hard you using your brakes.

http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,96.0.html . Not only how tall your are is important, also the leg length.

Please take a look at the Bicycle Frame Size Calculator, http://www.ebicycles.com/bicycle-tools/frame-sizer

But the length of the top tube is important and different on every model and frame sizes.

Couldn't hear anything on your video, so, my answer is based on your text.
I got a second monitor for my laptop and used HDMI, that's why I couldn't hear anything.

Now I've heard the sound, I stay with my answer.

Couldn't hear anything on your video, so, my answer is based on your text.

First start to clean your brake rotor with special brake cleaner. Do the same with your brake pads. Then it's important to run in you brake pads. Make some speed, downhill is the best, use your brake lightly (to warm them up a little bit) and then firmly (power stop). Do this multiple times (front and rear separately). This is the best way to prepare your brake even for wet weather.

I had some braking noise on my first rotors (shark fin rotors), it didn't go away. After changing my rotor for other (totaly different design, Avid HS3) it's now very quiet.

Thanks guys-  I knew I had seen some posts on here before about the web saddles, but couldn't find them. Are they all the same?  For around $10 for the web saddles or $25 for the full composite ones it won't hurt to just try one, but if there is a 'better' version out there I'd like to get it.
I bought this spider saddle with the thoughts "for this money, it won't stay long". After four month and 800 km, I've still the same saddle. :)
But a saddle is personal. Not everybody have got the same ass (sit bones).
