Sensah hydraulic gravel groupsets now available.

Looks to be a new rear derailleur with these sets too.

I suppose that RD should work well with Sram's 12 speed 11-44 cassette?

I myself have found only a few third-party lightweight options for SPD-SL. Even though Shimano pedals are reliable, Look KEO seems to be a better choice for cost-conscious weight savings.

But, here are the three options I found:

Exustar E-PR18 CKTI (Titanium axle, carbon-reinforced nylon body) - 246g - 126 USD https://www.amazon.com/Exustar-E-PR18CKTI-Road-Clipless-Pedal/dp/B00LOA0BTU

Exustar E-PR18 STTI (Titanium axle, nylon body) - 256g - 100 USD https://www.amazon.com/Exustar-E-PR18STTI-Road-Clipless-Pedal/dp/B00LOA0BYU

Rockbros LP-R21 (Steel axle, nylon body) - 262g - 40 USD https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832644654245.html

If you want to save weight, you go with Time pedals. Otherwise, just get used Dura-Ace. Still light and will outlive any Aliexpress special pedal IMO

I'm really looking forward to other peoples experiences... I find the bike to be fairly instable especially at speeds above 35km/h... To the point of getting scary when descending...

Wondering if it maybe is the 380mm handlebar with the short 80mm stem...

I'd say it's more the super short 80mm stem rather than the handlebars themselves.

IMO, just get Fovno Aurora Pro if you want a light aluminium crank. 170mm crankarms with spindle are lighter than Goldix, but should be far superior when it comes to durability (solid arms, 29mm alloy spindle)

Ordered these tubeless wheels in 45/50 profile:

Will see how it goes. Chose seller's shipping method, so hopefully it is DPD. Paid 480€ with coupon code, which is a nice deal

Not sure how I feel about anything named Goldix on my bike.

Could be much worse, i.e. Xpedo

I had already explicitly asked for this in this thread:
http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4325.0.html

Unfortunately without success...

However, I finally ordered them because of the many reviews on AliExpress and the consistently positive image of EliteWheels on the Internet.

At the last "Schools XXX - Sale" I bought the 65 for less than 500 Euros including shipping.
Since they didn't keep up with the orders, I had to extend the production time so that the order wouldn't be cancelled.
I am supposed to receive them in November.

So assume a long wait when ordering.

But since I don't need them until next spring, that was fine with me, in terms of specifications and price.

I will report back on my experience!

I hope they arrive a little earlier so I have enough time to test them, as I will then be hitting them again on 11/11, with a lower rim height, for my climbing bike.

Interesting. Did you select DPD shipping when making the order or did you go with standard Ali shipping?

Can anyone share their experience with the wheelset in question? I figured it is better to have a separate thread rather than using general ones considering that the wheels are a somewhat common suggestion.

Also, they're on promo again

There is no HG 12sp cassette that is officially compatible with Sram road flattop chains, as far as I', aware. It's gonna work and it's gonna shift fine, I guess. But in theory the rollers and the ramping of the teeth don't fit together 100% resulting in accelerated wear. Most people seem to consider it a non issue, however.

Sram's own 11-44t XPLR cassette (HG freehub compatible) is officially compatible with flat top chain

Just saying you can get Shimano 105 di2 with cransket, chain and cassette for 768€ here: https://www.bike-components.de/en/Shimano/105-Di2-R7150-Groupset-2x12-34-50-p88663/

So maybe 100€ difference with LTWOO tax included.

That's a nice deal (although shows up as roughly 850€, prob duo to vat difference?), I guess they have a sale because of mechanical 105 launch (which is now more expensive than Di2 counterpart).

However - lack of choice is sad. No option for 52/36 chainrings or 165mm crank arms. Buying a new crank and selling this one will result in additional cost, buying parts separately is more expensive as well

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Groupset News

Regarding Sensah hydraulic grouupset: you can buy just the shifters with brake calipers https://a.aliexpress.com/_mLZTy1u, which opens interesting options when paired with either roador gravel/mtb derailleurs. Yes, there's gravel ready Ltwoo groupset, but I am not aure about their mechanical shifters ergonomics -  I have rim brake Ltwoo groupset and the thumb shifter is pain in the anus to reach

Does anyone know what is the chain compatibility of chinese XDR cassetes? Flat top Sram chains or regular Shimano spec chains?

https://a.aliexpress.com/_mKoZuCA

According to the store, the cassette works better with Sram, whixh suggests that it is just a Sram knock off without a second thought. Which is sad, because might as well buy the actual Sram cassette for 100€

74
You can build open mold frame with carbon wheels and Force AXS for around 2500-2700€. Haven't seen anything remotely close in value in EU. If you go with cheaper groupset (i.e. Ltwoo or Sensah hydraulic and chinese cranks) then you can stay under 2000€ mark.

Interesting new carbon road crank option.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005991154282.html

Doesn't have the pinch bolts like the Racework, so that's a plus - but unfortunately it's still a 24mm aluminium spindle.

Seems like it is the same crank as Onirii carbon crank
