If it's too aggressive, you can look into a yishun r068d, which is what I ended up doing for a build. It's a good frame.

Thanks! I think one more spacer and it's OK!
As for Yishun I have contacted several factories and sellers to "feel" them. Yishun was polite correct, but the fact they didn't want to paint a frame and another minor aspect were enough for me to put them aside at this stage.

I couldn't decide either so I got a 55 in the rear and a 45 in the front!

ahaha
I honestly think there is no difference both in weight and in aero gains (and I really don't care much about this as I don't race). Just more worried if there is actually any look diference or not :D

It's great to see that support was nice at least :)

I'm about to pull the trigger on one of those too though geometry seems a tad too aggressive. Now just wondering if I should pair it with 45mm or 50mm wheels ahahah

Second hand I guess?

Yes yes forgot to mention that ahha. Still I think it was a nice deal as it includes all (ex disc rotors and crank)

Now just seeking wheels and frame to match it... So far divided between lcr017, ltk 268 or vb066.
Currently have a speedster 30 and I think it would be nice maybe to have sth racket though I'm not going young

the mailman rang a few minutes ago. Had to weigh everthing before i rememered to tell about the tax and so.
Price as declared was 83€ and i payed 19% VAT (15,77€) and a 6€ handling fee from DHL. So in total 21,72€ on top of the original price.

Thanks!
Yes in Portugal would be much different as they'd want the real invoice.. In Belgium I dunno... still waiting. Anyway I got a full groupset 105 hydraulic for 190euro delivered which I think wasn't bad. Going mechanical for now eheh

Hi Leon,

Could you let us know where that groupbuy is being organized on so we can see the options and pricing?

thanks

But wouldn't that make this forum pointless? Or are you referring to a specific Chinese manufacturer you regard as too expensive?

Well the more I see, the more I get to such conclusion eheh.
For example Carbonda fm1136 painted and delivered to the EU is above 1000euros. Geometry wise this would be the best suit for me. Then we have the 1056 gets quite close to that mark 650+195+25+10+1x0USD.

As far as I see here in the forum these would be a good option while velobuild seems OK only if the order goes wel firstl. If not, apparently it's better to just forget.

Yet, one always has to take these reviews with a pinch of sal. Both for good and for bad.

Honestly at this stage think I'll risk. Longteng is taking forever to answer emails so I'm left with VB but still trying to reach a couple of other shops such as workswell

haha, no, I am German, living in Berlin. Belgischer Kreisel is the German term for riding in two rows in crosswind with rotating riders in front as in a time trial.
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgischer_Kreisel

but I'll definitely have a look into your frameset suggestions.

Hhe then I guess I'll have to risk alone ehhe. I think I'll pull the trigger either on the velobuild or the ltk... Its hard to justify a Chinese frame around/above 1k when you can get western full bikes for 2k or less

83
Assuming from ur username that u are from Belgium (around brussels) maybe we can think of ordering together a frame and save on shipping money.

Maybe there is even other Belgian people willing to join and do a groupbuy from 1 supplier.
I am currently in doubt between Carbonda 1136, 1056, vbr 066 and ltk266. Mind points to first two, wallet to the latest 2 especially since vbr066 is the revised version

if your parcel gets stopped, they ask you for an invoice and charge you VAT on what you paid, plus potentially 10-20 eur for custom processing fee. They can't really fine you, if that's your concern. And worst case, you refuse the package, it goes back to china, and you eventually get a refund. There's a tracking number so the parcel can't just get lost on its way back to china, so you would get a refund.

Well first of all I'd like to avoid any custom :) there are some shops which do the XDB or so to dispatch things without paying it. Second, if it's like in PT, it's not just 10/20€. It's actually quite a bunch more. Here you can find a complete 105di2 for around 1000€. Taking the VAT off is sth like 830€ which puts it dangerously close to a complete ER9 build, with the advantage of being Shimano and warranty

85
Was doubting but with the sale i've got a full ER9 group with Zrace rotors and Senicx crank for 500usd. I'm racing these bikes, curious how ER9 will react to the Belgian kermesse races ;-)

let me know how it goes with the customs. I was thinking about buying that set but am afraid of customs here in BE

Does anyone know if this type of material is cheaper in Malaysia? I am going there in a couple of months and was thinking about bringing a groups from there if it was much cheaper.

Because of a potential tax free or so. Either this or an ltwoo er9
