No calipers to measure.

Another question: there are three super thin spacers in the headset they gave us, where do they go?

Just eyeballing it, removing the metal bushing might make the eyelet too big for the mounting pin if it's not there

I have a noob builder question. So I bought a Manitou McLeod tear shock for my frame. I got the wrong size on the lower shock mount, but for the upper I got a Rockshox 30mm mount. I was just messing around with it last night and tried to slide the mounting pin in the eyelet. It went in a little, then got stuck. It was really hard to get out. It seemed too tight. When I go to really mount this up, will a little grease and a little more force get it in there? Or do I need to remove some sort of bushing? There is a metal ring in the eyelet, but if I remove that, it looks like the mounting pin will be way too small.

Anyone with more experience have any suggestions? Thanks.

Has anyone used any type of rubber grommet where the cables enter the head tube? If so, which one did you use?

Damn. I ordered 22.2mm rear hardware thinking the 22.86mm might be too big.

Did you go bushing or bearing in the back? What size? Any spacers needed?

Oh, that sucks. Hope you get it back.

Got my large frame today. Haven't got to open it yet, though. I'll pop it open when I get home in a bit.

So is it ok to use Fox 22.86mm mounting hardware in the back? Or is it not the right fit? Too tight? Is it better to get 22mm and buy some spacers?

So 8x30 for the top of the shock, have we determined what size the bottom mounting hardware should be?

I pulled the trigger on a fork because it was a good deal. Now I just realized it's 51mm offset. What are people's thoughts on this? Was this frame designed for a shorter offset fork? Should I send it back and find a 44mm offset? Or will there really be no difference?

In the new group buy thread, the photos Eddy posted have a chain stay protector. Did your frame come with one?
