Cant find any link to this frame on ali now. Does anyone have a link? Or anything else about it

http://www.kinesis.com.tw/en/product-689621/TUM616-27-5-plus-29er%E8%80%90%E5%8A%9BEnduro%E8%BD%AF%E5%B0%BESuspension.html

Here’s a link to the manufacturer… maybe contact them to see if you can get it from them or where you can buy it.

If you use the browser duck duck go and search kinesis tum616 you’ll find more links to purchase then you will on chrome.

Hopefully that helps.

Just wanted to add to the body of knowledge. I ordered 2 of these (delivery issues, different story). One fit a bit tight on a Shimano bb, so it didn't spin as freely as I'd like, and the other which looks exactly the same wouldn't fit into the BB at all. It feels like it is a third of a mm too wide, and a rubber mallet might break the bb. Bottom line, the manufacturing tolerances are pretty loose, so you may end up getting a good one, or one that is frustratingly close to good enough (but not quite). I could've probably sanded it down to fit, or done some other stuff to make it fit.

Mine are for a DUB bb.   I wonder what the difference is?  They fit my bb perfectly.   Interesting.

Well this bike is awesome.

It feels smooth and stable.   No issues whatever with linkages.  I’m pretty stoked how well this bike rides.

Ride on brothers.

I put a pair on my recent build. I went with the splatter colour way.   These are the 165mm length.

So far so good. They feel solid.

Hopefully the Chinese frames start adopting geometry more like this frame. Steeper seat tube angles, etc

I think they already do.  Just talked a while to sift through the enormous amount of frames to find the modern frame.

Looks like a specialized status.

I say go for it.

Hey everyone,

So the bike rides great.   No issues what so ever.   The reach numbers work out ok for me. I’m running a short 35 mm stem and my seat is slammed all the way forward as well.  It was very drama free.   Felt like riding a bike.

@scourgei think if you put a 205x 60 shock in instead of the 205x 65 shock the travel is reduced to something like 151 or something like that.i think as long as the eye to eye is the same you can reduce the stroke with no geo change.

It’s done and built up.
The frame overall is really great. I’m looking forward to giving it a test ride soon.

I just ordered this frame from AliExpress.  With a bit of research, it seems like kinesis frames are pretty legit.

The Geo and the numbers are extremely modern. My only caveat is that the reach numbers seem a little long, but with The steeper Seat, tube angle and slack head angle. I think the fit should be very similar to a commencal meta.

Anyone else around here have any experience with kinesis bike frames?
