To respond to my own post, I ended up going with the Elite wheels Edge.  Magene shop on aliexpress does not seem to allow you to message them.  I emailed their website instead and got a slow response saying if you want Campagnolo freehub you have to purchase seperately.

Much easier to buy via Elite wheels with the correct freehub in the first place so that is where I placed my order.

They arrived on the 14th December.  My Campagnolo freehub, steel bearing, 40mm weighed 587g front and 684g rear.  I have installed the rim tape, my yellow veloflex corse 25mm tyres and cyclami Tpu tubes and now have to wait for better weather to test them out.

My old shamal ultra wheels will now be used for this time of year.  Unless of course I can used the elites all year round and sell the shamals.

Pump only inflates a 700c road tyre to 50 psi.  Pump was fully charged myself and showed 3 bars.  By the time you get to 50 psi all 3 bars have gone and the pump refuses to inflate past this.  You can turn it back on and get a short period further but then it is totally dead.

As a result these pumps are not fit for purpose.  Either the battery is not 500mah, the max air pressure is not 120 psi as a result.  Battery shows 3 bars after only 10 mins charge yet charge time should be 45 mins.  I can leave on charge for 45 mins and still the issue remains so i have a feeling the battery fitted is too small and not as per description/specification.

I purchased a different pump at same time and that one rated at 450mah and 120 psi max pressure works as expected from a different manufacturer.

Unfortunately cyclami a2s are not worth buying and I will be having to instigate a return and refund.

Hi All.

I own a Lemond Titanium from 2002 and would like some nice carbon wheels for it taking advantage of the current 11/11 promotion and discount vouchers on aliexpress.

I was set on going for the lighter weight and less expensive elitewheels edge 40mm but then saw the exar RB Pro in 45mm.

Anyone have any experience with either in rim brake version?

Only thing that puts me off exar is the fact that aliexpress does not seem to offer version for Campagnolo which you can select for freehub and I presume brake pads via elitewheels.
