if we analyse merida, almost same size than giant. owner of around 50% of specialized. owner of a famous factory which is know to build state of the art bicycles.
all the process is optimised and the suality control too.
but building a bicycle is a sum of details and at each step , even a famous factory has thz possibility to follow the somerhing between the cheapest and the more expensive way.
for example the resin is quite important. if you build the same bike with the same specs but with different resin, some years later, one can become a spaghetti and the other one can stay stiff. nobody speaks about the resin , but maybe it is better with a big factory. i think oem makes great and robust frames but i believe their beahviour evolves faster than best branded frames. the final cost is the difference between the buying price and the selling price. at the end, i m not sure that the the lost money makes the difference.

Interesting price point.
...
So... interesting price point. Most of my friends are completely hopeless with their bikes, so i can see how paying up more upfront to get shimano (i'm assuming it really does "just works") makes sense for a lot of people.
I've been happy with my er9, when it's working. But they literally all died by now, except 1. that's some atrocious fail rate. The good thing is that everything works reliably, except the RD, and the RD "only" costs 150 eur shipped to my door.

do we know what is going wrong with the RD (not waterproof or mechanical failure)?
btw i intrested in your best chinese option (reliable ) for light carbon crankset and cassette

Bit off the topic, but can you send me a link?
Need one, and all that I can find cost more than 1k€.
Thank you.

5
ok but what is the best price you find ?

6
what is exactly the point of the erx groupset?
i miss something.
a full new 105 di2 with crankset cost around 890 euros in europe.
erx is not specially cheaper and not specially lighter

7
calm down! my friends

8
that s the reason why it s not fair.
it s not clearly said ok for this product not for this.
it s a bit borderline.
i prefer chinese compagnies now

9
Discount code not available on most products mehh.

not fair
one of the drawbacks  :)
but let s sue them for false advertising now et let's get a free frame

10
AVOID. Worse customer support doesn't exist.

they are pretty fair on price, they are big  but it implies drawbacks
my own experience was ok , i mean without shit

11
not cheap
not light
but a super frame at a discount 54/58 still available

it s not a question of buying easter or western. it s a question of buying a mix of acceptable stifness and safety.

I think 800-850g seems reasonable for an aero'ish T800 carbon frameset. All these companies say they're T1000, but that's just part of the marketing routine to rope in the noobies.

Anyways, just pick a vendor that has good communication and answers your questions. Though if they keep calling you "friend" in every reply, they're probably bullsh*ting you!  ;D

Winspace has built the SLC 2 with an unknow proportion of T700/T800 around 800gr before painting, but i believe that's a serious and reliable factory with optimised process. it s not properly achievable by all

to be honest the LTK268/ttx21 is pleasant to watch. he seems to be fast, specialy with a "tractor sticker".
but some guys said that the tantan bike is unstable at speed and a nightmare during descents.
Maybe changing the headset or rding a small size to increase the stem length is mandatory . i don't know.

i m looking for a good bike, not the lightest but i don t want to finish like casartelli 30 years before
