Comment and quetion.

Appears that some of their complete bikes come with wheels named Retrospect.

Guessing that TanTan must produce Retrospect?
Anyone have any experience with these wheels?  I do know they
Are heavier than most carbon wheels.

Any other info?

I’m in the US and couldn’t make my decision on what frame in time.
Looks like I’m going to be waiting it out unfortunately.

Yes. Same boat.  I have waited to long. I think it will get worked out but may take some time for sure.

If you set up a Facebook account. Search and ask to join the Chinese Bike group and post your story there.  That group had helped others get some restitution in similar situations.

I would suggest you share your story on all social media you can. That will get their attention.

Here's the reference for LC's wheels: LightCarbon C67DB Disc Brake Road Wheels with Butterfly Weave Rims: BRD28-55C 55mm depth, 28mm width, Tubeless, Clincher, UD black matte.
They're 55mm deep, I had 5.5mm bladed spokes fitted... I like them, and the price/quality ratio compared to the larger wheels is good.
This is my fourth pair from them, and I'm still happy with them. They're not Leighweight or anything else, but they're perfect for my needs.

Thanks for the update on the wheels. They look great on your bike.

Hello everyone,

I'm finishing assembling my LCR017-D, and everything went very well. Communication with LC was very good, but this isn't my first bike... I've already assembled a mountain bike for my son and ordered several pairs of wheels, road, CX, and MTB. I've always been very satisfied. I received a product that, to me, was in perfect condition, both inside and out. The paint and stickers were exactly as requested.
All I have to do is clean it, remove one or two spacers depending on my test ride, and install a saddle. So far, the only problem is the customs fees.
This is the version for larger riders :), I'll give you the weight with the saddle...
Thank you for this forum's existence and everyone who participated.
Have a nice day!

Looks great!! Tell us about the wheels? Size and brand.  Thanks for sharing.

and to top it off I bought training wheels from Tagoola which are 1/3 of the price from the Elite wheels. Some will use Elite wheels as training wheels as replacement for their black inc wheels for good weather or races, and I use Tagoola ones for training wheels (winter/rain) and my Elite drives for nice weather. See the picture as the attached reference. also In the current state on the image as weighted: 7,00 kg

So in the pic it looks great.  Question on the Tagoola wheels…….whaf size? From and rear different sizes?

Well I have literally just purchase some wheels from DFS Carbon (based in Xiamen)and also there crank.
Have ordered a set of 60-65mm deep 25mm inner width Superlight T1000 UD Paintless Rims 20-20H H-Works Hubs which are generic as everyone seems to be using these and 5mm at carbon spokes.
Cranks is 170mm UD Raw Gloss with 24mm Ti axle including Alu spider, again this design is generic like they are all but they have tested against Cybrei Eliliee THM sram etc well allegedly they sent data.
doing managed to get the wheels and cranks with delivery tax free (thats i take with a pinch of salt

Do you have a link to where you purchased the wheels and cranks? I have not had luck searching. Thanks

I've been talking to Chinese cyclists on social media almost daily and they also prefer having more reliable products and customer transparency. Shimano is quite affordable there (more so than in the west), so the comparison is always I can get Shimano for this price, why buy something else? I've also learned cycling is quite a young sport in China and we can thank the pandemic and social media for really kicking off interest in the sport. Many young people apparently saw cool photos and at the same time liked the idea of being outdoors. I've also learned cycling groups has been a big trend for dating!  ;D The huge spike in Chinese products and innovations we're seeing today was helped in part by cycling influencers! I think there's a lot of domestic pressure on LTwoo to improve across the board, so it's a win-win for us.  :)

I know this thread is about Ltwoo but do you hear much about Wheeltop?  Have you tried Wheeltop?

this.   we distribute and sell magene retail and have not yet had a single issue or return.   People (including myself) find  them super reliable and well thought out.

Link to site of where you work if possible?

I have a buddy who weighs around 109kg/240lbs. There's just no way I'd fit him on a bike like R088. He'd probably be better off on a more sturdier endurance style frameset.

Tend to agree.  I am 100kg and that just seems like a risk.

Question for any that might have asked SP.  Any idea of the max rider weight limit on this bike?  I asked about the R065 and it is 105kg.  Pretty Low for a frame IMO.

Just about ready to take on a maiden (outside) voyage!  Still playing with painting the bottle cages the same as the frame. There’s some small things to add still, but it’s currently 16.0 lbs, or something.something kg.

Paint looks great. You use spray gun or rattle cans?
