Are you 100% on the height of that bearing? I asked them for the specs as I wanted to source my own bearings and they sent me this picture below. It's an 52x40 with 45/45° but at 8H. Now got me wondering what the correct size is ...

I hade something like this, standard chinese bearing: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006126989753.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.42c118021uH6Ib (the 52 one)

It is not even specified what are the exact values of the bottom bearing.

You could try a 52x40x7 bearing with 45/45 degree and another crown race

Thanks, that solved it, weird that this FSA bearing is not that standard, I won't change the top one, because for that I would have to reroute the brake hose, but with the bottom one it seems fine.

Do you use the FSA crown race? Or does have the rudy an integrated crown race?

I used the FSA one.

My frame has arrived, and I've built it, I have an FSA No 69 headset: https://www.fsaproshop.com/products/no-69-srs
I have a rockshox rudy fork, and it seems like there is no gap on the crown of the fork, on the top it seems fine. I can't tighten the headset enough to not have play, but If I tighten it a bit more the fork won't move freely. What shims do I need, and where should I put them, or what should I do?

Thanks!

So, just one of the standard Garmin gear fields or the Wheeltop specific app?

It's just a generic garmin field.

Do you know how to record shifting data into the garmin fit file?
I've added the shifter as gear sensor, I can see the shift ratios in the data screens, but shift data is not recorded to the fit file.
Never mind, it did show up in the AXS viewer after I connected it to garmin, I think that the trick was to show the Front and Rear gears on the corresponding datascreen.

I have bought the second one with 165mm cranks, it will arrive this week, hopefully it will have the updated bolt design.

It arrived, this is the new bolt design, right??
One caveat, that this is the chinese version, and the pedal balance and smoothness requires payment, but I contacted the seller on aliexpress and sent the serial number and he activated within an hour, so I didn't have to pay for it.

This bike is pretty fast. Took it on a 75 mile gravel ride today. It did really well in the sand pit areas with the 50mm tires on it. 5 stars for this bike

Do you really need a chain guard with wheeltop gex? I'm also thinking about this specific model of chain guard.

IF you want to go ahead with a wide-range rear cassette and/or "clutch" like on the eGR RD, I think that's probably the way to do it.

What you need to do it is the dual-port battery that comes with the road group. The eGR version only has a single port to power the RD. Getting the road set would include that and the shifters/brakes. And then you need the eGR or MTB RD. Supposedly LTWOO will support pairing across product lines. Confirmation on that seems thin though. If I get a chance at Sea Otter I'll try to remember to ask someone.

Can you provide more info on the MTB electric RD?

No, they're similar to Shimano using something similar to the shadow derailleur hanger design. I tried setting up a Shimano direct mount hanger on my UDH bike and the LTwoo RD wouldn't fit on a Shimano specific DM hanger. It's slightly different.

So just have attach it to the hanger directly? Does that work fine?

Hello,

Can you recommend a frame plug for a front derailleur hole? Do you even plug it somehow?

If waiting is an option, the new Ltwoo eGR version is supposed to have a larger max cassette capacity. Also, their new MTB derailleur looks interesting, especially since it seems it likely pairs with their road and gravel brifters.

Thanks, I think I will wait for now, 80 Desinger store answered me and said that the new eGR will be available in the end of the month.
I have one more question, Wheeltop has a specific interface with UDH hangers, does LTWOO have something similar?

I thought about it, and I think now is the time to go for a 1by setup. I will buy a PG-1230 11-50 cassette and a 40t front chainring.
But now I'm torn between wheeltop and ltwoo. Ltwoo would be better for my smaller hands and more adjustable for sure, I like the changeable battery. Does the braking feels like Shimano with Ltwoo as well? I like that.
Wheeltop on the other hand surely supports up to 52t big cog. And there is Ltwoo wierd adapters, I have a Rockshow rudy fork, so I hope that a back adapter should be fine with the front caliper for 180 mm rotor, just like shimano (SMMAR160DDA)
What do you think?
