I think I found the reason for the big gap between spider and crank. It is due to the fact that the receiving end for the axle does not sit flush in the crank arm it protrudes by roughly 1 mm which equates the gap that I’m dealing with. Trying to explain that to AliExpress. But it hasn’t proven to be successful yet. I don’t think the person actually is making an effort to understand what I’m trying to explain to him or her.

Mine didn’t come with any spacers. My guess is that the spider should sit sit further outside on the axle, eliminating the gap between them and also moving the chainring further out too. But the spider almost appears to be stuck halfway on the axle.

Hi everyone, I recently bought a pair of lexon carbon cranks with a DUB axle. I tightened the spider on the drive side to the required torque. There is still a considerable gap between the crank and the spider (can fit a small coin in there). Is that normal? It is quite difficult to make it work with the front mech because the chainset so far on the inside. In case this is not normal, any idea how to fix this? Thank you for your help!
