The predecessor model was produced by workswell.  I would assume that they are still working together as the frame looks very similar.
However this model is not in the workswell catalogue.
And also workswell stopped selling single frames to us private people.

Okay, it's official. I kinda regret not getting these Santics. The Xternity shoes I bought were about $25 less and I like the aesthetics more, but they aren't that comfortable, aren't stiff at all, and I'm not certain how long they'll hold up. In fairness, they were VERY cheap. And, they do look VERY good, lol. And, they haven't broken or torn (yet). I think the problem is relying on the single BOA for securing the entire shoe. It must be overly tightened to get it even moderately snug, and the stress seems to re-distribute while riding to create un-even pressure on the top of my foot. Also, it just isn't that stiff.

Life is to short for bad shoes.
You can still order them.  ;)

You should check out if there are high fees for the import to your country.
European Union for example takes 48% punishment customs for complete bikes from China additionally to the usual taxes.

;) and then it's not so cheap anymore for a Dura Ace and an ugly frame. Well maybe the carbon rims can be also turned into something nice by removing the decals.
Better to know what you need to pay instead of a bad surprise.

This topic is not even 2 pages long.. reading these would already have answered your pink gold question..

Hello all, I have a 2019 Scott Foil and am looking for a full carbon integrated bar and stem with computer mount. All the Kocevlo ones I've looked at are for 28.6mm (1-1/8 inch) steerer. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an integrated bar and stem with a 1-1/4 inch steerer?

There is one lexon cockpit with 1 1/4"
I have the feeling 2 years ago it was much easier to find 1 1/4" cockpits.
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EG5yCmo
I don't know why the description only talks about 1 1/8".. it comes with an adapter part to reduce from 1 1/4" to 1 1/8" (that's a good thing if you want to get a cockpit that groans  ;D)
There is a hint that it doesn't fit to 31.8mm.. that's weird. I remember when i looked for a cockpit i didn't want it as it was 31.8mm with the adapter down to 1 1/8. Maybe the spacer parts don't fit to 1 1/4"

Regards lexon and quality:
I  use a slightly different lexon on a 1 1/8" fork .. the Vero.. it's fine. But you need to check the quality as soon as it arrives .. the first one I received was out of tolerance. Meaning it could not be mounted at the fork...

The Canyon copycats usually copy a bit older design .. to me they look a bit oldfashioned. I have one (the original .. cockpit as well as bike)  and if the bike fits to it, it's a good match. So..Not aero, more rounded tubes  ;D..)

This style of clamping does only clamp on the top and bottom part. So it doesn't matter if you put 7x7 or carbon rail with 7x9 in it.

E.g. this is the same clamping design and allows explicitly for both:

But it's common for human to focus on the details and forget on the bigger picture - that's the marketing effect has on us :)

It's also very common for some humans to tell others what is right and wrong, neglecting that besides math there might be several right solutions for one topic.

And jeah  currently there are indeed some good deals around. But as  it's the goal to have a build from scratch, they might be not the fitting choice in this case.

For the question of the handlebar.. if you are shouting for infernal solution at the end, but are unsure about the dimensions and see willingly to have a test phase you can start with a semi integrated setup. Like having a "common" stem and handlebar and the hoses are entering the frame at the dust cap. Once you are fine and want to shift to an infernal routing, you "only" need to reroute the hydraulic hoses through  the integrated handlebar. And you need to change the dust cap.
For that you will most likely need to cut the olive barbs unfortunately.. so you need some cm free length.
And this approach has one weakness: the dimensions of stems, handlebars, integrated Cockpits are sometimes not identic, even if they come with the same printed numbers. But that's a part of the game.  ;D
Is there the second fork to have an external routing possible? I think with the semi integrated dust caps (also available from FSA, Acros....) you could think about saving that. This is really working out pretty fine, if you want to use the frame with a common stem and handlebar. I have built 2 frames like this, and you can just use the infernal fork and are fine.

Looking for anyone who's had any good experiences with some shoes, preferably road shoes I'll be putting RC7 clips for powertap pedals. I did a quick search of the forum and not much came up. A couple of people posted some Darevie shoes and one for Santic. The santic piqued my interest because I have a bib by Santic that I'm quite pleased with, but I see most of their prices are really high, as high as western brands, except for one shoe they sell.

I'm considering these, just based on the brand.

I'm considering these because I like the low-key branding, the look, and the streamlined single BOA fit.

Anyone else have any recommendations?

I have these Santics since 2 years.
Although they don't have a carbon sole, they are quite stiff. The inner sole is some very hard material.

They are quite nice. The toe box is rounded and not too narrow. For me that's a good thing for cycling. Nothing more painful than a squeezed toe.

You need to consider that the fixation points can't be shifted, as .e.g. on Shimano shoes. So you can "only" shift it with the cleat oblong holes. A lot of shoes don't have this double sliding option.. but just if this is important to you.

For the sizing the shop contact sent me photos with measurements of the inner sole length. If you have a fitting shoe, you can measure it also.
For me the result is the same size as for Shimano and Northwave. Which is 41 for all of them.

Thanks Zilcho!

Would you mind posting a photo of your bike? I'm planning my build and an looking for inspiration :-D.

I'm currently leaning towards a gloss black build with silver accents. Manitou R8 fork,  Mara pro shock, possibly a GX Transmission derailleur, alternatively XTR. Hayes A4/A2 brakes. Self build wheels with 30mm ID carbon rims and silver dt swiss hubs.

Unfortunately it seems a silver headset top cap will be hard to come by for this particular frame.

You can put any black anodized aluminum cap for a short time into sodium hydroxide solution (Rohrreiniger ist das üblicherweise) . But beware. It must be very short because the lye will otherwise kill the complete top cap  ;D
Doesn't work out for plastic parts obviously..  ;D

I have seen this with black hubs.. which were afterwards pretty nice shiny silver. That's also on MTBnews in the China part thread.

By the way:
I chose the 909 due to the 2 bottle cages.

I would not use a MTB crank. The diameter is larger so you would have to use spacers in any case.
There's plenty of solutions, e.g. the already suggested GRX.

Wiawis is a legit company and they were the first in archery who  introduced carbon  parts. Former Times the company name was win & win .. which is still visible in the unchanged logo "w&w" .

So regarding their capability of working with carbon..definitely a yes!
