Hi, 1,95m and 96cm inseam here. Not many Chineroptions with Stack > 600...
If Stack 610 and Reach approx. 390 is what you are looking for, check out the Yishun R068-D (XL), Hongfu FM238 (XL) or Carbonda CFR-505 SL (XL).
All discussed in this forum with plenty of content for reading, as well as the R-066.

Cyclocross Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: LTWOO eGR
« on: Today at 12:54:23 AM »
That's my one issue with LTwoo, they're all over the place when it comes to their hardware revisions. For example, I have 2 ER9 groupsets and they're running separate firmwares most likely due to having different internal hardware.

This issue is not specific to LTwoo, it applies to China in general. I even experienced this working in the electronics industry, Chinese are not afraid to change or to innovate.
But it appears this is happening randomly and opportunistic, without clear strategy and no documentation, information & transparency for customers.
Just look at RideNow TPU tubes, several versions from black to transparent to black/pink valve stems.
Or the various headset iterations for the famous C compression ring from Velobuild.
Selling is one aspect of the business, but supporting everything that you have sold is another level that Chinese seem to have limited consciousness of.

Any decent options that would suit a 31.8mm / 1 1/4" steerer? Thinking about updating the bars on my Grail.

Did some searching, but all options coming up were the smaller diameter.
The magic search term is "od2 integrated handlebar", this should provide quite a few options from Kocevlo, RXL SL, OG-Evkin and others in AliExpress.
I can not recommend any specifically since I am preferring separate stem and handlebar combos

They now also have a new 12s 11-36T (sic!) for 218g on offer. That's the lightest I've ever seen. Unfortunately, no 11-34T option.

Similar to Ridenow tubes, it starts getting a massive challenge to keep track of all the versions and iterations of light cassettes out there...

If you don't bother three aluminum sprockets, here is your 12s 11-34 option:

Thanks a lot!

Could you tell me if the Lettering on the small chainring should face to the Bottom Bracket or to the  Pedals? I heard different installation instructions from the seller (but both did not work for me).
Marking is facing the left crank arm side for the Pass Quest that I have.
This is the same side where the hole for the bolt has a chamfer.

Could you maybe sent a linkt to the chainrings you bought? Maybe I will buy another set and try it out. Because as I said I tried them on different bikes now with the Shimano Crank and Magene Crank, so I am pretty sure there must be something off with the chainrings I got.
Seems I ordered these
https://aliexpress.com/item/1005005046221641.html
but just now I realize they are advertised as 9/10/11-speed ordinary chain in the Cycling Tribe Store.
But then I also bought these
https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006649110221.html
and they are advertised as 9/10/11/12-speed ordinary chain in the Your Bike Store.

Both in use with 12-speed Shimano Ultegra (on an Ultegra crank) and 105 (Magene PES P505 Base Power Meter), no issues with both.

Edit:
Just noticed the difference between the two linked above: one is for R7000/R8000 (one rounded bolt area) vs. R7100/8100/9200 (with two rounded bolt areas).
This only matters when mounting the chainring to a Shimano crank, while it does not matter for the Magene PES P505 Base Power Meter.
Both chainrings are marked 11-12s

I tried to use the Magene powermeter with 50/34 pass quest chainrings but unfortunately it won't shift onto the big chainring. I tried different adjustments for days but can't get it to work. With the original Chainrings from Shimano it will shift without any problems.

Has anyone a different working recommendation for a 12 speed Shimano ultrgra di2 which is working with the Magene Powermeter?
I would really appreciate it.
I am running the Magene PES P505 Base Power Meter with Pass Quest 48/35 chainrings on a 12-speed Shimano 105 di2 setup.
Works just fine...

I ran the Juin Tech F1 on two different bikes (Velobuild VB-R-099 and Canyon Grail) with 160mm rotors and no issue.
The only negative I can say is the cable routing, caused quite a "bend" of the compressionless housing on the Velobuild VB-R-099.
I recently purchased a set of Growtac Equal knockoffs on AliExpress, very happy with the installation but no significant miles on them as of yet (winter in central Europe).

Metal Frames / Re: Chinese Titanium Frames...
« on: February 21, 2025, 09:45:00 AM »
Does anyone know how much a Hi-light G0 3d printed bike costs? Just want to get an understanding of the prices of 3d titanium nowadays
Have you tried asking sales@tibicycle.com? They once commented on an IG post, but not sure they truly considered B2C or if they stayed with B2B, only.

10
Have you tried these? How are they?
Purchased the Growtac's not on this store, but on some other Shop### store on AliExpress that is no longer available now.
Brakes look solid, love the concept and cable routing.
Did install them, so far good to dial in and good braking with compressionless housing.
Did not have a chance to take them for a longer ride on the road (winter in central europe).

I think one of the cheapest option would be to use the magene pes p505 which is available for around 280 bucks including the cranks.

If i change my BB to a 24mm one this should work with the right chainrings for sram axs or?
Yes, you may consider adding Pass Quest AXS chainrings.
Did not mention the Magene PES P505 Base Power Meter in the first instance since there was the impression you are looking for carbon cranks.
I can recommend the Magene PES P505 Base Power Meter, quite sure a few others around here can, as well

12
Would you rather change your BB bearings more often or have spindle break mid-ride?
Difficult choice to make...

Maintenance, Mechanics, & Tools / Re: Which immersive wax are you using?
« on: February 13, 2025, 12:53:23 AM »
I am using paraffin wax and 1.6µm PTFE as additive
Moving forward I am planing to move to 4µm graphite powder as additive

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Aftermarket Brake Pads?

I have been using Cocoma Ex Plus form the Alpha Cycling Store on AliExpress, can recommend them

Riro / racework carbon crank:
some people will warn you of the aluminum axle, but the 24mm diameter will leave more bearing size for the pressfit bottom bracket
170mm crank length, not good enough for Pogi wannabes
Magene P505-S1103 powermeter in 3-bolt
Pass Quest chainrings, available in SRAM gearing 48/35 and for flattop chains
