Thata the same frame as many other. You have it on velobuild, Tantan etc. It's an ok frame. Can look very good in the right colours and size. Just make sure that it is built using Eps technology

Thanks, looks like the Velobuild GF-003 is the same frame, and it's also sold by others under different models. SPCycle also manufactures it under SP-G056, does that mean that no matter which vendor I pick they are all coming from SPCycle and have the same quality? or do some of the vendors have the same molds and also manufacture them? Trying to figure out if I should just go for the best color combination I can find and ignore the vendor/brand

As the title says, I have lower back pain issues and I do better on a more relaxed geometry, most gravel frames out there favor a more aggressive geometry, so far I found a Lexon frame that has the numbers that I'm looking for (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804806533463.html), but the few Lexon reviews I could find make me want to stay away, any similar frames out there from more reputable factories?

:o those are twice the price of the campagnolos, but they do look pretty sweet

I'm working on a new endurnace bike build and I'm looking for an endurance wheelset that can handle a bit of everything and is wide to run up to 35mm tires. I really like the look of the campagnolo shamal carbon c21 wheels, the price tag is not terrible for being campagnolo but wondering if there's anything out there that might be a better value and has a similar spoke pattern

ah right that makes sense, I guess if they can provide custom paint jobs they should also be able to provide just the primer layer if I ask. One downside that I'm thinking about is that if I order the raw unprimed finish it will be more easy to inspect the frame for any manufacturing errors (It's my first DTC Chinese frame so I'm a bit nervous on the quality). On the other hand I guess any problem with a frame that can be spotted by eye is usually in the non painted areas of the frame, so I guess there isn't much benefit getting the raw finish

Hi all,
I'm planning on ordering a frame and I'd like to do a custom paint job myself, I've messaged the vendor to see if I could get the frame raw without any paint and they said it was possible, but I'm a bit confused if there would be any advantage getting the raw frame without primer vs getting the black matte finish.
I'm going for an opaque paint job so as far as I understand the first layer on the frame would be a black primer, so I'm wondering if I can just get the black matte finish instead to avoid having to do the primer layer, or does the matte finish come with clear coat and would require sanding down before I can apply paint, in which case I assume I'm better off ordering the raw finish frame?

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / CF-025 disc frame tire clearance ?
« on: September 06, 2023, 10:14:23 AM »
Hi,
Does anyone own the CF-025 Disc and can give me an idea what's the biggest tire I could fit? I know the officially supported max tire is 28 which seems rather skinny for an endurance frame. I was able to find some comments of someone running 30's but not sure how much more can it be pushed.

If max tire is really 30 does anyone have recommendations for a similar geometry frame that can fit bigger tires (Ideally 35's). I've looked at the carbonda 1056 and the rinasclta granite but I seem to be between frame sizes, I'm looking for a frame with 395 reach and 600 stack
