The short bolts supplied with the adapter are for attaching the brake body to the adapter. The screws for the frame, which are screwed through the frame into the adapter, must be purchased in the correct length.
For example...

Frame diameter:
10 mm
Screw length:
23 mm
Manufacturer number:
Y-8N208000

15 mm:
Frame diameter:
15 mm
Screw length:
28 mm
Manufacturer number:
Y-8N208050

Some details, like the bottom bracket, look very much like the one i got from yohobike. Hopefully the exploding BB is a individual case. So far no problems with mine, and i can put down some serious numbers above 1000w .

Hi guys, I have a sl8 clone from yohobike. Had to rework or grind some details, but on the whole it has been inconspicuous and good to ride for a few 100km. The handlebar as a Roval Rapide clone is a bit too flexible, but works well. I also suspect that the sl8 clones all come from the same factory and it depends on the seller whether, for example, the BSA housing or the brake caliper mounts are machined with a milling tool before shipping.
By the way... the original sl8 seatpost fit very well. Had to buy the longer Version.
