They gave me a couple of weeks ago the 20th of june for when they were shipping the frames. Is that what they told you?

Tires: go western
Tubes: ridenow
Rims: XMCS for carbon, DT swiss for alu
Spokes: Pillar or Sapim
Hubs: definitely go chinese with Goldix or Koozer. The Goldix 370 series is my go to for cheap durable somewhat light builds, available in avery option imaginable
Stem: Uno 7075
Handlebars: unless you want some specific shape or carbon, probably cheaper to go western or Uno
Bartape: currently love the Motsuv, thick rubbery and 5$
Groupset: can't beat Shimano offerings on bikediscount: maybe cheaper to get just the levers+derailleur+chain on there and then get a Shimano cassette on aliexpress (unless you want lighter, original Shimano is cheaper and works the best), Senicx crankset or Magene PES if you need power, Wuzei chainrings.
Rotors: the cheap 5$ each Zrace centerlock are perfect, 10$IIIpro if you want lighter
Seatpost: Elita One
Saddle: Ryet the cheap 15$ 180g is awesome, no carbon

Can you fit 28.6mm stems/cockpits or only 31.8mm?
And any other infos about their cockpit? Reach, Flare, etc.

Why 31.8? I'm quite sure the steerer is standard 28.6

5
It should, since the dub wide is 2.5mm wider per side

You don't need a "wide" crankset for xplr. It was done to have more frame clearance for the chainring, especially with 2X. The only concerns mounting the Magene on this frame are the fact that Magene says it's not compatible with T47 and the maximum 1x chainring of 46T. However, if the frame protrudes enough on the drive side as I've seen in the pictures, there should be no interference with the powermeter and, since I'm using a 0mm offset chainring mounted on the outside, the clearance is the same as 2x so 53T

Will take a lot of pictures of the whole build once I'll start around July. I don't know yet which tires to choose for the gravel side since I'm not sure yet of the clearance. I've tried asking Velobuild if 53mm tires would fit but they told me you can try and see...
I'm looking as well to see the maximum clearance.

In this context, I find the ekar 9-42 cassette very well suited for 1-by 13 speed road drivetrains!

My only problem with this is the 9 tooth, I'd rather go 10-46 for the same range

Finalized my build and going to pull the trigger on the frame soon. 7.3 Kg, less than 2k EU for the road build.
I wanted an lightweight "aero" race gravel frame that could double as a road bike, all with super limited budget. The choice of this frame was easy also due to the fact that in my size it has exactly the same geos as the Supersix Evo4 road bike so it should be good with a proper set of road wheels. For gearing I went 1x12 with 48 front and 10-44 on the back. I've been using recently my cx bike on the road and I've figured out that I want 1x my next road bike, might go for a smaller chainring for steeper gravel stuff, but for now the build is more road focused.
The groupset is a bit of a hack since I'm using Campagnolo Super Record EPS disc 12s levers with the electronic internals replaced by a 3D printed case for Sram AXS wireless blips, so that the lever paddle operates the blip in the lever. The levers are paired with ZRACE XG calipers so in the end they're lighter than the new Red E1 levers.
On the rear I'm going with the Rival XPLR derailleur to keep costs down, I really wanted to go 13 speed but the cost of the Red derailleur and cassette is bonkers, so I'll definitely wait for Rival or Force 13s to upgrade and to benefit of the UDH frame. There was also the option to go Wheeltop Gex with Ekar cassette, but it's also quite expensive and much heavier and I still don't trust Wheeltop. For the cassette I went Goldix as apparently shifts as well as Sram but it's 85g less than Rival.
Crankset is Magene PES because it just works and is very cheap, to save weight you need to spend a lot more if you need a powermeter.
I opted for a semi-integrated setup because I wanted to use the 34cm Balugoe handlebar I already have and I might change the postiton to fit better the situation.
The wheels are my favourite part as I can build myself so I went full custom with XMCS rims paired with Goldix hubs, went 21 spokes in the front to reduce drag and weight. Don't know yet whether I'm going tubeless or clincher GP5k since the rolling resistance is very close but the clincher is substantially lighter and cheaper.

Here is the Excel for the build, feel free to suggest some different parts. The main focuses are cheap and somewhat reliable. I'll post more once I start building the bike.

Anyone that has tried this cassette? I'd like to pair it with Rival xplr RD instead of the original one since it's 85g lighter but I can't sacrifice shifting quality or durability

the 0mm offset seat post has a one bolt clamp, the 20mm offset seat post has a regular clamp design. I ordered both.

How much more did you spend for the second seatpost?

SENICX cranks have been slated by a number of people, but maybe the steel bearing BBs are better?

Where? The senicx direct mount 24mm spindle are by far my favourite cheap and reliable cranks out there and I have a whole cx season on them with even a couple of wins and never had a problem

Since my original question asking about these "cheap" P505s from polish sellers and the realization in this thread (and other places) that they are actually shipping from China and might be shipping the Chinese version I just ordered off Magene Official with the Sunshine Savings. Solid price. Also took 170mm cranks instead of 175 that I currently use. I don't have any problems at all with 175mm but I guess even I am affected by the hype.

Now it's just a matter of waiting. I'm sure I'll be back in the thread asking about various problems I encounter :P

My problem for ordering from the magene store is the added taxes to Italy. The "shipped from poland" store would prevent this also considering the fact that it's 50EU cheaper. Ordering right now it would be 220EU which is cheap af and it should be without any taxes. I wouldn't mind loosing smoothness or L/R since this is my third PES but I wouldn't want to pay any additional stuff. Where did you find they were being shipped from China?

Yes...I run a tiny spacer, but that is mainly to give a bit more clearance for my 46T chainring.

doesn't the alugear chainring you're running have a 3mm inward offest though? If it ere straight you could run a bigger chainring without the spacer

Bike’s all set up! Took a bit of work, but the first test ride went great.

Frame 52
Garbaruk 10-52
Garbaruk Oval 44T
GX Eagle AXS
Elitewheels Gravel SLR
Schwalbe Thunder Burt 2.1

8.5kg with cages, pedals, power meter, garmin mount.

Hi, can you measure your chainline on the center of the chainring and the maximum radius that your chainring has since it's oval? How much clearance do you have? I'm trying to figure out if i can fit a 0mm offset 48T chainring on the outside of a magene P505 which in theory should be no problem since this bike should fit a standard 50/34 and in my case it would be in the same position as the 50, but I've read some people struggling to fit a 46T.
