I can add that the P505 PES did work with a T47 from SPcycle (G069). My Power2Max didn't.
Thank for the info. As i'm really into the G068 it's nice to know, that i can swap my 505 onto it.

Would you mind checking if you can order now? go all the way to "pay" page, then ofc dont press pay. what happens is that at the last page, i get a >150 eur error related message. afaik, the issue wasnt there a few weeks ago.
just checked it. 523$ in the basket and 439$ after price adjustment and shipping to Germany. No warning what so ever.

is the conection between drive side and non drive side solid? If so, i would unscrew the bb a few rotations and then tap it back in until the drive side pops out.

Did anybody buy a new preload screw from Magene? I asked them via email and they charge 5 USD for it which is reasonable. But they ask for more than 20 USD for shipping to germany which i think is a little steep and doesn’t even include the import fees.

Is there any way to get it cheaper?
That is happig! ;) Had to buy there T300 part, after i lost mine. Came in at around 12$ back in August.

80 Designer Store is also already selling the new eR9. Though it seems the shifter shape remains the same to V2 of eRX, based on the pictures they shared with me. Maybe this is how they are going to have some distinction between eRX and eR9. The new eR9 also comes with USB-C charging in the FD, by the way.
is it just the hoodcover or the complete shifter? I'd love to get a new eR9, but only with the bigger V3 eRX shifters because i find my eR9 V1 hoods simply too tiny and therefore uncomfortable.

The little screw that suppose to change the position of the derailleur ram doesn't have any effect (picture with red arrow).

Thats the case because you unscrewed it completly. Screw it inwards until the RD starts movin away from the cassette. A gap around 6-8mm should be the target

Maintenance, Mechanics, & Tools / Re: Carbon rail saddle torque wrench

I missunderstand myself : I mean tightening torque in Nm.
as i only know carbon rails are almost always? the oval ones, so on my oval rail clamp 8nm is recommended. And that is what i went for.

Just for the ER9 the weight is quite niced up and it would do absolutly nothing, neither shifting or breaking.
I weighed my when it came and i ended up on 1414g with uncut hoses and all batteries and srews and adapters for the brakes. So roughly 8% extra.

Main drawback I can see is that they're stating 34T max (hopefully it will do at least 36T).
36T should hopefully be easy. LTWOO says 32T and i cleared 36T with ease and plenty of space left.

That's definitely an auxilliary button. Hope they also have the ability to add satellite shifters in future.
Isn't this position a bit weird? Doesn't when in aero-hoods or in the drops, and quite too easy to press by accident when the hands are in normal hoods position.

i have the Magene S3 speed/cadence sensors on all of my wheelsets. Works really fine for around 10$/€ each.

One of my ER9 groupsets just updated to ver. 0.1.7. adding TT button functionality. I guess the TT shifters will be available soon.  :)
interesting. i'm on ver. 0.1.1 and the app tells me this is the newest version…

Frame just arrived. I've tried putting in the BB and fitted the PES Magene onto it. Everything seems to be working fine. Crank was rotating freely.

Do note that I only did a quick test fit, seems adding a bit extra spacer on the drive side will help add clearance in case of mud or dirt.

nice to hear, that it is likely to fit. Could you give some feedback after your final installation? Especially on the alignment from the middle to the left and right crankarm. not that it fits, but then is outside the middle position because of added spacers and eventually doesn't fit anymore after fitting some spacers on the left side for compensation.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter

Just checking, is everyone using 12-14nm torque with their Shimano chainrings?
personally wouldn't recommend it. Tightend my Tiagra Chainrings with 12-13nm and when it came to loosen them one just turned itself without loosing. So on retightening i went down to something around 8nm, which should be enough.

What's the difference between the new and old preload screw. Is the new one just a single one and not two that are threaded together? Mine came with the latter option even tough i bought it just recently and i'm wondering if i should reach out to magene to maybe get the new one.
the new one should be the two parted one. As this is what i got as a spare for my lost one and with the new PM i bought in november.
