Did you buy the one that's specifically 182g? I'm tempted, but I'd rather have a 12 speed version.

Upon inspection, no, and also I got an 11sp.

Regarding the 182g 11-34t cassette, I contacted ZTTO and they said this is definitely an all-steel cassette. I'm wondering if they're testing out this design since it's only available for 11 speed? It looks similar to the mixed steel-alloy cassette construction, but instead they made the big cog spider all-steel (this section is usually alloy). The other lightweight steel cassettes uses a riveted/torx screwed section for the big cogs hence the slight weight increase.

Side note on these, I got one and it shipped with a couple dime-size blobs of grease inside the cassette body. Actually having a hell of a time getting it clean, though I suppose it would be easy with an ultrasonic parts cleaner.

I asked Peter as I ordered two sets of wheels (65/33, 50/36). It’s 120 kg.

Carbon spokes and 20h? Dang, that's pretty solid. Thanks.

D65CU-33 T1100 20/20H UD paintless wheelset built with 5.0mm carbon spokes weigh around 1315g/pair, sorry, not able to attach pictures for now

Do you have a max rider weight for these? Also curious about max rider weight for same build with tbe D50CU-33. Thanks.

Very interesting, thanks OP. I wonder how the Serenade frames are.

If you get an answer on sizing can you let us know? I'd need a 48-49 which may not happen from Ali

I just bit the bullet and ordered a pair. Listed size of 39 notwithstanding, they're right around a 46, kinda narrow.

You might want to ask the seller, as earlier in this thread, it was said it's a one-size item that you would have to cut down yourself.

Oh, whoops. Thanks.

Like that?

10 bucks + shipping. Not sure about the sizing, though.

If you just want arch support but don't care about the adjustability, there are some options with fixed arch bumps, cheap as dirt.

That's exactly it, except I would need a 46. Thanks.

Bumping old thread because it seemed most relevant. Are these G8 clones still available? Links are dead and haven't been able to find them with the search function.

Not sure what CSC is. Farsports, Xiamen carbon speed (Peter on the forum), Yuanan, Elite all have good reputation. Yuanan is the OEM for elite.
They can all do brass nipples if you ask (not elite because it's a sausage factory there and most of their rims are narrow by latest standards anyway).
Definitely ask for T800. Peter started using T1000. T700 is heavier, less stiff, and cheaper. Rotating mass doesnt matter at speed, but it matters when you accelerate, and snappy wheels feel nicer. It's a small price hike well worth it. We're all talking OEM pricing so over 2-3y (if not more) it's really not much. And resale value will be higher too.
Light bicycle also has great reputation (usually a bit more expensive) https://www.lightbicycle.com/. Lots of boutique shops in the west use these rims.

Honestly look for the spec you want and order from any of these. It's commoditized. Choose your spec, then based on who's treating you well & price, order.

Thanks. I googled up a shop called "Carbon Speed Cycle" based on references to "carbon speed" ITT, but it looks like you guys meant Xiamen Carbon Speed instead. Super helpful post overall, I'll get some quotes.

Buy T800 from a reputable seller, put nice spokes, if you want extra longevity get brass nipples, and you'll be fine.
Trust me, I'm a stranger on the internet.
Thanks. Out of curiosity, is there one you would recommend? I've been looking at Yuanan, CSC, and Elitewheels, and they all seem to use alu nipples and either T700 or their own ("uni") carbon fiber.

How rough are you guys on your deep Chinese carbon wheels? I'm interested, but I weigh 85-90kg and my local roads have a fair number of potholes.

Anybody know of otherwise quality bibs with a thin, minimal chamois? Like the fleece you sometimes get in tri shorts. I hit up YKYW and asked which of their bibs had the thinnest chamois but they never did get back to me on that.

Those are a pretty niche product, and typically niche products don't end up having an Ali copy. If they do, they're usually pretty bad.
Dang. Oh well, thanks anyhow.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Anybody got a source for big platform pedals? Looking for something comparable to the Pedaling Innovations Catalyst. Thanks.
