There is  always one saddo on the forum I
‘It’s Indonesian’  small mistake but most people with sense know what I’m
Getting at.

Alway look at the Asian frames but never buy to much doubt would rather spend twice as much for piece of mind.

To much rush may go  Winspace either T1550 or maybe SLC3, this will also be my autumn winter bike unless I can pick up a tarmac pro SL8 on a good deal

Be great of there was kind of league table of brands

I have pushed the button on Cybrei lots of race teams use and if its good enough for Pogacar!
Cybrei are due to release 24mm and Eiliee have an updateD 24mm due the X Trecneto I think its called, and Lexon also have a 24mm on the way.
Not all made in the same factory but someone has stolen the design obviously.
Considered the Lexon and RockBros but not worth the headache and potential injuries  save a few quid if it goes wrong IMO

Been told that Cybrei is not made in same factory however it is clear they are all using the same design  ;D
I considered these cheaper brands RockBros and Lexon but I have gone with Cybrei, lots of race teams using also Pogacar using them on his TT bike plus customer service

I like the look of the arow and its getting a reaming on YouTube.
Seem like a hefty price for basically an unknow Brand, plus resale is like to be less than half the  value
Should be in the $1200 bracket no more.
I have an SL8 and my other bike is a Winspace SLC2.0 this I want to change as I may race again next year and I need something I can race and afford to crash  ;D

Everyone need to take a chill pill.
Thought a forum was to help people as well as opinions and information exchange.
Not oine for 'knock offs' myself as not worth the risk bit for quality chinese products yes.
Panda Podium do a quality Carbon saddle manufactured by Pardus @65g $229USD and you get to keep your teeth

Well Adapt and Tavelo are at the same address in Xiamen anyway, its likely Adapt who OEM have just set up there own brand like Winspace did. Obviously as some of you know Tavelo is ex-winspace employees.

Adapt:
NO.2
Rixin Road

Xingbin street,
Jimei District,
Xiamen,361022, China

Tavelo:

Unit 1, 4th Floor,
NO.2 rixin road,
jimei district,
xiamen city, fujian province, China.

The ones you linked are 1x and the teeth are also carbon so there a waste of money

Ok link deleted. Seem like they are Brompton only, shame looked promising.

Will consider the Cybrei rings, asked why they have paired 54 with 38t and they said for climbing.
IMO that's what 52/36 and 50/34 are for,  54-38 is a bit of a jump.
Rather have there meta aero rings in 54/40  ::)

Anyone know who manufactures the Unionjack carbon chain rings?
Seen them on Aliexpress reviews look good and yes they look like Carbon Ti but i need 110BCD 4 arm

I have used carbon Ti on DA 12 speed and shifting is good.
Also considering Cybrei but I need someone who knows what the shifting is like

I use Ridenow myself still have to check tire pressure before rides as they do lose a little. I also treat them as single use I find the repair patches at cr@p and don't adhere to well.

Road Bike Frames, Wheels & Components / Re: Airwolf Madone
« on: August 02, 2024, 06:44:11 AM »
Hey all new to the forum.
Have looked at the Airwolf site and all the frames they now have SLR Gen 7 no they have the 8, and the dogma and SL8.
Not sure how they get away with it so blatantly on there own website, even if they do not have logos
This is the company behind Airwolf Shenzhen Yaoflying Sport Component Co maybe they do do OEM but likely they would loose business.
However there geometry chart  also shows CAD of the carbon layup of the frame.
Anyone with an SL8 Airwolf
