Heya! I have a pair of DT Swiss P1600 wheels that I want to convert from HG to Microspline. So, I bought this MS freehub: https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005005310126883.html

It seems the Quick Release end cap is preventing the wheel from spinning, as it doesn’t seat properly on the hub bearing. Do you have any idea how I can fix this?

Does anyone know if there is clearance for a 4iiii powermeter? Furthermore, I'm curious what powermeters people are running or plan to run on this bike.

Hey mate, I’d say you don’t need to worry at all, there’s plenty of space.

I don’t have a 4iiii, but I do have an Inpeak powermeter. Anyway, I’d say you won’t have any problems

I've just bought the frame, so I'll let you know once I get it built (I'll be moving the components from my old Orbea Alma).

About the bushings, I've read in this thread that I should get 8x16mm and 8x25mm, but on the Ridley forum, I've seen 8x16mm and 8x22mm instead.

Could you please help me out with this? I've never built a full-suspension bike before. Anything else I should keep in mind?

Finally finished the build! Super happy, it rides smooth as silk.

Specs:

- LCR017-D 54cm
- Shimano Ultegra Di2 12spd
- EliteWheels Edge 2.0 50mm
- Continental GP5000 AS TR 32mm (Tubeless)
- Ryet 3D-printed saddle RT06A
- Onirii PD-06 pedals
- Elite Leggero carbon

7.5KG with pedals, bottleholders and wahoo mount

No major issues during the build or riding so far. Haven’t noticed any drag from the square down tube either. Finger crossed the fame will last.

I was in the same position when choosing a Christmas present for my girlfriend. She definitely wanted rim brakes.

I ended up choosing the Velobuild 066, and she absolutely loves it. The frame quality is quite good, and I didn’t encounter any major issues during the build.

hi, i'm sending you some photos of the assembly i did for a friend of mine with the hongfu fm138 in size s, which now has the gemini replica handlebar. My friend has had the bike for 7 months now and is very happy with its performance.

The bike is amazing! what wheels these are? I really like them

I'm looking for some advice on frame size. I'm 176 cm tall and I'm currently riding a Rockrider XC900S size L with a reach of 436.  HongFu size M, which surprisingly has the same reach. I'm wondering if the M HongFu might be too small for me. What size HongFu FM138 frame did you choose and what is your height??

I'm also considering getting this frame. Based on my measurements (178 cm height, 84 cm inseam), the Ridley webpage recommends a size M.

Has anyone experienced issues with the seatpost clamp and saddle? Mine makes a creaking noise when I apply some watts on the uphills. I haven’t applied any grease since the saddle rails already have a designated clamping area.

Does anyone have any tips or advice? Here's the saddle I’m using:https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005006893754548.html

Yo guys, I don't really get all the hate on the LCR017. I mean, yeah, the cheese frame can be a bit off-putting (I'm like 50% excited, 50% worried about mine that's currently being shipped), but honestly, there are plenty of happy people with the frame, and as far as I'm concerned Lightcarbon sent a replacement for the cheesy one.

Also, I have to say I would have bought the Winspace C5 if I’d had the money. It seems like a really good all-rounder, although there's not much info about it online

Well, this one is mine. Looking forward to it being shipped. Let’s see what happens after the cheese incident...

delivery 90mm travel

Yep, it’s the Lightcarbon 980. I kind of like it, but the cable integration is awful, and I haven’t read great feedback about it in its own thread. Same as Seraph FM080

I’d say the main pros are the weight and agility. For example, the top-tier Epic Evo is 10.2 kg, while the Epic WC comes in at 9.4 kg. The 120mm shocks make bikes more stable, safer, and probably faster on downhills, but they do compromise on tight cornering and bike sensitivity.

And personally, I love the aesthetics. They look like rigid MTBs, which I’m more used to riding.

Yep, by short-travel I mean around 70-80mm of rear shock travel. The Oiz has 120mm, which is a solid platform, but I don’t need that much.

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for a short-travel XC frame, similar to the Epic WC, Supercaliber, or BH Lynx SLS.

So far, I’ve come across the AIRWOLF YFM015, but I’m a bit concerned about the rear shock and the fact that it doesn’t support a standard shock. I’ve also checked out the LightCarbon LCFS980, which I like, but I’m hoping for something a bit lighter with a more rigid-like design.

Does anyone know of other frames with these characteristics or have any experience with the AIRWOLF?

Thank you!
