I have always used and trusted koozer.. They have a new model using the old dtswiss star ratchet.. I like the quick pick up of the 60t without too much drag

This is similar to what i got
https://a.aliexpress.com/_ondad1b

So what i did was cut to fit my shoe then blast the insole with a heat gun until pliable then quickly insert into shoe and put in my foot and lace tight and stand.. Wait until it cools off and you got custom insoles molded to your foor and shoe

Component Deals & Selection / Dropper: Fastace, Zoom or Aliexpress E20

Has anyone used the droppers from Fastace, Zoom or  the Aliexpress E20?
This is for a budget build. Not too concerned about weight but more if the post is "serviceable" and if its reasonably durable with proper maintenance.

Try and find the stiff polyurethane ones.. Those you can heat mold to your foot and shoe for a custom fit.. I drilled vent holes into mine to prevent hotspots

« on: November 11, 2024, 11:48:36 PM »
Hi,

Almost ready to get a frame. I have narrowed down to 2 brands, lightcarbon and hongfu

Wanted to know the opinion of the group which is more reliable in terms of build quality and strength.

Component Deals & Selection / Re: LTWOO AE Anybody tried this?

Too bad.. This seems to be a good alternative to archer since they have closed shop. I hear they are for sale or something but still provide support for all units sold.

The ltwoo versions appeara to be bulkier though but way cheaper

Really enjoy seeing your builds.. This model really is growing on me and getting pretty tempted to get one.. One question though.. I saw on hambini's video review of a road frame that there are frame grades.. Do you know what frame grade you got?

I watched one of hambinis videos on light carbon and he got a Z3 grade frame.. Did you guys get the Z3 grade or the lower grade ones?
