It's great that you don't have to do much rework.
I asked the seller and was told that the price would not be reduced during the 11.11 sale, so I am considering buying it during the Choiceday sale.

No paint on my frame's BB shell, perhaps you're thinking of an anodized/painted bottom bracket? Mine has the plain old Shimano SM-BBR60 bottom bracket.
Well, I don't like it painted on the BBshell
Unpainted or anodized is best
Did you file the BBshell and screw holes during assembly?

« on: November 01, 2024, 07:44:40 PM »I like it. The quality seems good to me. The caliper holes and bottom bracket threads are fine, and the glossy black finish is flawless. It's my only road bike right now, I'm in the market for an aero bike (N+1), but honestly finding it hard to justify since I have no problems with this one.
The flexiest part of my bike is the cheapo alloy handlebars. It has held up to my 8-12 hours a week of riding and training just fine. However I am a 63kg climber, so I'm not really worried about the weight limit or parts randomly cracking or exploding. Would I buy it again? Yes I would.

Which store did you buy it from? I'm also looking into buying a frame now.
What do you think about the paint job?

Recently, I found a frame called RECILLO on Aliexpress. The frame shape is exactly the same as Hygge, and I think it was OEMed by winowsports, but the price is different. Hygge is so expensive these days, so I'm thinking about buying this one.
The frame shape and paint look very good, and the fact that the BBshell is not painted is also highly praised.
What do you think of this frameset? Do you think it's okay to buy it?

While browsing Alibaba I came across a frame that looks very similar to the 2019 version of the Emonda.
The geometry is slightly different from the real Emonda, but the look is very similar. After doing some research I found out it is manufactured by a company called QYH Carbon in Jiangsu, China.
Does anyone know anything about this frameset?
Also, do you think it would be worth buying?
