Anyone with experience with these now that they've been out a few months?

What's the consensus on carbon road/gravel wheels (22mm go 24mm internal) that I can with DT Swiss hubs (ideally the real thing, or something I can get that uses DT Swiss 350 parts).

Looking for an 11-Speed 11-36 cassette. Was just going to go with Sunrace, but figured I'd check here first, mostly because the idea of having more cogs (all cogs?) on the spider sounds cool and I like needing out on gear.

That said, the gravel season is coming up so I don't want to mess around with anything with poor quality control or shifting that is going to take a bunch of work to get just right.

Is there anything that's going to shift as good as Sunrace? Or should I stick with what I know?

(My experience with 11 Speed MTB cassettes is that I can't tell a difference between Shimano and Sunrace)

Wondering if anyone has been able to track down 9mm and 10mm thru bolt (not QR end caps for DT Swiss 350 style hubs.

Component Deals & Selection / Anyone Tried Elita One Master Post?

Has anyone tried these? Looks like more opportunity for flex/comfort which would be nice. However, tolerances would have to be pretty tight to minimize slipping, especially with the one bolt design and carbon on carbon friction holding things in place.

Don't know if I want to be a Guinea pig for almost $100 CAD but if others have good experiences it might be worth a try on my road or Gravel bike

Component Deals & Selection / High Output Large Battery Lights

Looking for a light for night fatbiking in the winter. In general, more power.is better (ideally 2000+ lumens) and more battery is better (because the cold saps battery life). Anyone have anything that's worked well for them?

Do you know the differences between the different order options (E.g. Wahoo type A vs Wahoo type B)?

Is there an easy way to buy from taobao in North America? It looks like there are issues with Pandabuy (it might no longer be operating?). Is there an alternative?

9
Probably either outfront mount or faceplate mount/using two of the faceplate bolts.

Ideally without the light/accessory attachment (or with removable light/accessory attachment) because aero.

Has anyone found a quality Garmin or Wahoo style mount that works with a Kalloy Uno Stem and is available on Aliexpress?

Looks like RideNow have a version with a pink (alloy?) stem with a black base (I assume it's some kind of material covering the stem to help with durability). Has anyone tried these? Are they newer then the white stem version?

Wondering if anyone has found cables that match or exceed Shimano's quality or if it's better to stick with whatever my local bike shop is using?

I've seen a few mentions of cables (often times noting the gold ones are best) but can't find a thread with definitive recommendations.

Wondering if anyone has found a decent quality tool for crimping ferrules. Something like the Park Tools EP-1 or the Jagwire Crimping and Cutting Tool.

You should really consolidate all your questions into one thread and call it something like "New guy with a lot of questions!"  ;D

Haha, one time I won a free shirt because I asked more questions than anyone else on similar forum over the course of a year. Site owners liked having fresh posts.

I was actually thinking about lumping them together but I assume eventually other people will be interested in similar questions and I figured this way it would be easier to search.

In general it sounds like I should give the post a try as-is and if it breaks it breaks.

Seems like there are mixed reviews regarding the durability of Ryet saddles. Wondering if maybe production has stabilized a bit (or possibly gotten worse). Has anyone been using them for Gravel, Cross Country MTB and/or Cyclocross? If so, how have they held up?

Happy to grab one or a few if they hold up as well as western brands like Specialized and Selle Italia but don't want something that's going to degrade quickly and need to be swapped out.

Are they approaching Elita One and Kalloy Uno status? Are there alternative saddles to look at? Or are western brands still the way to go for long term durability?
