Re: Carbonda FM909 Yeah, I've got Kenda Booster Pro 27.5x2.6, they measure 65mm at knobs and 63mm at carcass on i36 rim, so it's rather 2.5.
I've modeled and printed part of chainstay based on carbonda blueprint, here is the result after careful matching 27.5->29. So I will most likely buy 29 version, it's tight but I think it should be ok. But yeah, true, heavy 2.6 won't fit for sure.

What's diameter of headset cover from Carbonda?

EDIT: just received additional info from Acros. Sent them FM909 headtube drawing and they said their parts will fit. Their cap is sealed and rubber grommets are available as separate part for 5E so I guess I won't bother with 3D printing that involves prototyping. However Acros uses 42x52x7mm upper bearing that are rare (marked as AC4252 or ACB4252H7) and not cheap, but are stainless so no rust problem at all. Maybe I need to look for Orbea of Focus bearings, they use Acros headsets.

Re: XC full suspension frame I think It's pretty unfair judging both Carbonda frames from two kinematics graphs and actually having none of those frames at home and riding them. One of 909 owners also has 936 and stated clearly that 909 eats bumps easier despite having "worse" graph.
909 has also about 0.5 deg steeper st angle giving better seat position with 120mm fork. It is also lighter, has lower top tube and two water bottles option without adapters.

Re: Carbonda ACR Headset Fix As I will have two frames to put headsets to so I decided to design cap/spacer prototype. Here it is:

Version with holes will split, so one won't need to cut cables while replacing upper bearing. As both, spacer and cap from Acros are plastic, I think it is more than enough when I print it with carbon infused filament.

0.2deg difference, I guess close to measuring tolerance.
Rising front by 20mm rotates frame by about 1 deg. Arno has 531mm fork, so front went up about 25mm from default Carbonda spec (506mm). Carbonda replaced only rocker, so maybe rear end wasn't actually risen by 10mm, but only 3-5mm?

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts This is clear glossy/matte over raw carbon. That's what I've ordered for my 909 (glossy), but I don't have photos yet. However, before I ordered, Adam sent me video of what it looks like: it's something like Orbea raw carbon with visible UD structure. IMO it looks better than standard matte black primer finish, as I can use glossy transparent stickers over it. I'm not sure if they remove black primer or get "bare" frames from factory.
For $35 extra you can order glossy/matte gradient.

Re: Max tire width FM936 & FM909 From drawings 909 has bit more clearance than 936. When I get my 909s I can check it thoroughly.
