Re: Another Tan Tan FM10 I was able to fix the derailleur and the chainline! I took some things apart and realized 1: I forgot to put the spacer in behind the cassette  :o so that was an easy fix. 2. I have the fovno cranks running a spider adapter to a 104bcd 34t oval chainring. Flipping the chainring to the inside of that stack closer to the frame (rather than on the outside nearer to the pedals) gives an excellent chainline putting me centered on the center cog in the rear cassette. I'll take some pictures of how it's rigged up if that would be helpful to you.

If you had cranks with a gxp chainring and didn't use the adapter, it would put the chain line to far outboard and it would cross/bend pretty hard to reach the big cogs.

I went with the boost frame, and the SRide 12speed derailler with an 11-50t cassette. Just to be clear I can confirm I can now access all the gears smoothly. And that makes me happy.

Note: the rear axle that comes with the bike is trash, and sheared on my when I was installing the rear wheel for the second time. Any old rear axle is better than that one.

Re: TanTan FM10 29/27.5+
So I have ordered this frame, but it doesnt look like the rear shock rubbing issue has been resolved.  Can someone confirm if this has been resolved and what is the correct size shock?  Is it 185x55 Fox DPX2 Trunnion?

Sorry mate, I haven't been here much of late. I have just built up this bike and am using  a 2019 DPX2 185 55 without any issues. I'm running Duroc 50's with 27.5 x 2.8 Maxxis Rekon+ on it.  Plenty of room between shock and arm throughout entire compression range and plenty of space between rubber and back of seat tube at full compression.

I'll be doing a build report soon but I'll post it in the 27.5+ forum as that is what I am running the bike as.

Re: Pulled the Trigger on an FM10 from TanTan Nice one mate.

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of mine as well. Even my boy and all of his mates were drooling over how good it looked and they are "brand snobs".

Just remember to strip it down and lube / loctite all of the fittings as required.
